I believe the confrontation with Third High will go exactly as the Crimson Prince plans . . . until the last moment or so. They will KNOW they've won, until they suddenly lose. It should be interesting The Crimson Prince is good, no doubt, and if Tatsuya thows a curve early, he won't know what else the Prince might do, so letting things develop until the last second will remove any chance that the Prince might countering his final action(s). I hope....

On this episode it's gram demolition and other is spell dismantler

I'm confuse what is tatsuya counter spell call the correct term I hope it's ok to ask

I'm pretty sure it's only because this arc has been focusing on other characters and not enough on Miyuki, I'm guessing that by the end of the arc the status quo will be back with a vengeance.

There were quite a few things wrong in translation, actually (and not just in this episode), so I am wondering whether non-Japanese speakers are finding it disruptive in any way.

For me, it's disconcerting because what I see isn't what I'm hearing, but for those of you who don't speak Japanese, is it confusing in any way?

Spoiler for Some examples from this episode...:

The most glaring one was that Tatsuya is apparently "daring (Masaki) to trade gunfire head-on," when it's obviously meant to be the other way round.

Then there was the "Even if the match is set on the Open Plains Stage, our victory is almost a dead certainty." The addition of that unneeded "Even," which suggests that the other stages would stack the odds even more in Third High's favour, means that the later "We've lucked out, Masaki" makes absolutely no sense.

I was actually disappointed that she was suddenly turned into a bro-con.

In the previous episode Tatsuya talks about how certain spells can't be used in Monolith Code because they would be classed as being too lethal.

I'm not really convinced, because half of the spells and weapons used in the Monolith Code scenes from this episode would absolutely kill a person. When that kid took the blunt hit from the magic sword, I was literally shocked that he could even move after that. Then they topped the episode off with large rocks being pelted at the Prince, followed by him pelting his opponents with actual explosions.

Magicians have a funny concept of lethality in this series.

Imagine if Tatsuya applied his ability to dismantle enemies' guns and such to the enemies themselves. That is a lethal spell. I admit the stuff that Third High was facing and doing seemed pretty ridiculous, but when there are spells that can literally make a person in front of you explode into red mist, and spells that function as the equivalent of a nuke as we saw in the beginning of episode 1, it makes sense that some things are legitimately too dangerous for use in a sport.

I don't disagree. There's lethal, and then there's literally dismantling a person.

It seems like in all of the fun of devising all sorts of insane ways for these characters to kill people, they forgot about things like blunt force trauma, and the fact that pressure waves from explosions are extremely lethal. It's nice that they banned people from turning me into a pile of elemental dust, but I'd like them to consider the effects of having my head bashed in by a rock, or my organs being ruptured by a large piece of steel.

In his atack in ep 3 he knocked him out by useing 3 waves. In this ep he only used 2 while he could be holding back it is a bit pointless to use a lesser version since one of the conditions to win is to KO all the other team. Achan mentioned that Tatsuya has set up loop casting on these CADs but they aren't specialized to do so like the Trident

when he was fighting the terrorist he dismantle whole weapon but now he just dismantle the spell

...I guess he is holding back

Well, you can't use magic too powerful during Monolith Code or you get disqualified. They ordered him to hide it too.
