So I just watched it with subs and they really did manage to translate "Kae Nozumu" as "Kae's wish" :O Translator, my friend... doesn't something seem wrong about that...? Like, grammatically?

Nozomu is Nana... his name is Nanashima Nozomu...

Heh, there goes Kae's first kiss. Still, I'm glad they introduced Shima into the series. What a handsome beauty!

Shima! She's so awesome. Also I maintain that she's more of a wishfulfillment than any of the guys...

Although Mutsumi continues to be best boy.

And Sawashiro Miyuki sounds beautiful as always, although I don't get why they didn't even make her sound more masculine, making it obvious that Shima was a girl, but they still kept the "omg he's a girl!!" scene. It's like the staff isn't even trying. Really, it's fortunate that the source material for this show is so good, it carries everything despite the shoddy production values, the half-assed directing and Kobayashi's continued questionable performance...

Welp, 'tis the season for yuris - both the ice skater type and the more traditional girl-on-girl love type

. We got Euphonium, vibes in Flip Flappers, Izetta and MagiPro and now an outright girl kiss in Watamoudou (yeah, like Guardian Enzo, I'll resist calling this Watamote. Tomoko shall not be forgotten!). I have to say, she looks the best suitor for Kae at the moment. I'll root for her. These guys are mostly annoying at this point.

That sounds horrible, though.

The official nickname is WataMote (written differently than the other WataMote, by the way) but if you insist on calling it that other name you might want to use one "u" (the first o is short).

watching this makes me want to go obese and become a fatty then go on a stress diet and turn instantly hawt and start to get all the benefits.

BTW, I find most of the guys very shallow... since previous they didn't really treat her fairly until she turn cute... that pretty much tells you those guys will dump you the instant you turn back to what you were before. (such as ep 5 preview shows how disgusted the guys are basing on their facial expression of about to puke)
Not to mention the fact they have those -_- faces when acting like they cared about Otaku stuff... deep down they don't give a shit about those and just wants to make moves on the poor girl. (which in episode 3 shows what it's all about, and ends up making her cry)

PS: this new girl... it's like she's the "just as planned" god or something.

I fully support Yuri vs getting with those other guys, maybe except for Mutsumi, who pretty much already know most about her already and isn't acting that much at all.

I really hope so. I'd hate it to skip volumes 4-6.5... those are pretty important character development stories. (For what counts as "important" and "character development" in this story, anyway.

But these character focus stories do make us know more about the characters and help making them likeable.)

So far I expected the anime to end with the big revelation in volume 6, but now I wouldn't rule out volume 9 either... they'd have to skip a lot for that, though.

Btw, if they're already introducing KachuRabu I hope they'll at least do the cursed island arc, too... that was hilarious.

That was funny, seeing Kae return to her original form again. I mean, it doesn't surprise me that she would someday

Oh that ending was amusing as well. This show is still rather funny thanks to Kae and the characters. I think Kae should probably avoid eating too much chocolate from now on though lol

I have to admit, Yuusuke Igarashi is already fallen in love with Kae Serinuma, even though she turned back into her chubby form.

Well, at least her sexy look has returned after tons of exercise with a little bit of yaoi bait among the four guys! Also, Yuusuke kissing Nozomu is very hilarious!

But... they're skipping the character establishing chapters??! We got Igarashi's and now the rest doesn't matter or what? I mean okay this is a character episode for Shima, but still, we should just assume that the rest of the guys didn't get over their issues about their feelings for Kae, and Mutsumi never realized that he was in fact in love with her, and never learned to stand up for himself? Yes, the shipping war arc is awesome and one of the best, and more Shima is always good, but Mutsumi is also a fan favorite for a reason, and his arc is in fact actually plot relevant! :/ And skipping the character establishing/character development chapters would be just deeply unfair for the non-Igarashi and non-Shima part of the cast in general.
