I liked it too. The main guy character is such a stud, and his gay buddy is quite hilarious.

Gotta look for volume 2 and 3 in Taiwan...

Yeah, i have volume 1 of this, coincidentally i read through it again today because its so cute. Hoshino is a mad pimp, considering he acts like a wierdo sometimes. Negishi is cute, too, a little uptight but considering Hoshino acts like a moron sometimes its kinda understanding.

And the fact that they went out for a month without kissing makes me wonder how boring their relationship was, lol.

Love Roma is great! One of my favorite manga. I've read through volume 4 of the japanese versions, and it never ceases to put a smile on my face or just make me laugh.
Unfortuntely, volume 5 is the end of the manga, but it was great while it lasted.

It's just so... unjapanese. Maybe that's why I like it so much.

Really? Seems like Hoshino has some "traditional" idea's (either that or he's just naive) but i can kind of see what you're saying because he's completely different from other main guy characters...and Negishi isn't exactly like, the OMG SHES SO HOT! type girl either...

It's the storytelling that's unjapanese, not the characters so much. The presentation and pacing, I think. It's neither shounen or shoujo in style, nor is it particularly adult.
