Check your harddisk for bad sectors.

I did. Ran chkdsk a few times, it found bad file clusters each time, but this BSoD keeps happening. Running a Windows Backup triggers it sooner or later, too. Now what?

Your harddisk is dying bigtime. Right now the parts affected appears to be places where they store your system (OS) files. Dont use windows backup. I'd suggest manually copying out files to another harddisk to backup. Dont need to copy windows directory and program files. Most of your stuff should be in your user directory. Then change your faulty harddisk and reinstall windows and your programs. You will lose your window and prpgram settings of course and need to reconfigure on your own after installation. Or get your seller for help, but do the copy backup on your own before doing that.

DL Crystal Disk or some other SMART disk reader and see what it says. Backup your stuff meanwhile. Try Teracopy and just copy paste your data into a second HD using it. Ignore transferring of OS related files....those will be renewed when you reinstall OS anyway
