The person needs someone to talk to instead of scorn. Sure, he's quite selfish/evil, but he isn't completely in the right state of mind either.

Though I do understand those who simply just have some sort of hate against him for being "selfish" - bullying is a very individual issue and it isn't easy to break out of those x-cidal tendencies. The effect on him is implosive and he is "suicidally" inclined, while there are others (like the Akiba slasher) who have the explosive effect and is "homicidally" inclined. And the lack of empathy is simply because not every individual gets bullied, most kids live golden lives free from social abuse.

So do we blame the majority of the kids who live golden lives? Or do we blame the kids for not standing up for themselves? Regardless, this guy really needs someone to talk to; but people are just too afraid to talk to him.

P.S I WAS a bully victim and have an aggressive-homicidal tendency, some around me remarked that I seem to enjoy killing people, be it during a LAN game or during an army exercise. It is pretty normal for people not to be able to relate the immense frustration of these victims, even if it is just some hypersensitive snap at a form of entertainment. After all, being outcasted by others, the number of bully victims, or rather interaction with them, are pretty rare.

This season looks promising so far.
New characters and opponents look good.
Guess this season the plot will be more Kagami centered.

I hope they cover the whole Winter Cup with this season, even though it's in progress with the manga. Maybe, a simultaneous ending of anime and manga with the Winter Cup conclusion?

that wont happen, winter cup arc is very long + preeliminaries and such, and there so many match, not only seirin, it will finished in season 3 maybe.

Well, they certainly made street ball more interesting.
Kagami can really be stubborn sometimes..
Kuroko's new technique seems very interesting.
Can't wait to see him implement it in a game.

Akashi must be something else if Murasakibara doesn't want to play against him. Aomine is the ace but it makes me wonder if he is better than Akashi.

I'll just say this: The manga covered Kuroko's time in middle school. So, we may get to see this either in this season or next.

If we consider that they showed the Generation of Miracles wearing their middle school team uniform in the OP, there is a glimmer of hope that the past will be covered in this season.
