Another small update this time around. The Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls game is coming out in two weeks (Nov 26), and as mentioned before, a special Dengeki Neptune magazine issue is being released on the same day to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Neptunia franchise. It looks like this special edition mag will also include a bunch of goodies, including a calendar, a poster, a sticker, a DLC code (and more). We also get our first look at what appears to be a major boss in the game. I find this funny, since in Neptunia U, Neptune mentions to Dengekiko about getting a Dengeki Planeptune magazine, to which Dengekiko responds "if it ever happens, we'll let you know". New tsunako 4komas - featuring (Mermaid) Uzume, Umio and Adult Neptune! In other recent news:

It looks like the game is part of an exhibit being set up for the SeHa Girls at Gamers in Akihabara.

There's one week left before the Neptune vs. Sega Hard Girls crossover game hits Japan store shelves. In this issue of Weekly Famitsu, the crossover game was reviewed, receiving 7/8/8/7, for a total score of 30 out of 40 (thus being awarded a Silver Crown). The Dengeki Neptune special issue is also releasing next week, here's a sneak peek: The website for the crossover game was updated, adding a new gameplay trailer, plus info on the class change system: The NA/EU website for Neptunia VII also updated to add character pages for the Gold Third members, Croire and Arfoire.

Choujigen Taisen Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Yume no Gattai Special (a.k.a. Hyperdimensional War: Neptune's Platoon vs Sega Hard Girls) is now out in Japan!
We get our first look at the cover art for the OP/ED single for the crossover game, releasing on Christmas Day in this issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Blanc is set to get her own figure based off her recent game, courtesy of PLUM. Looks like it's already available for preorder, releasing in March 2016: In other recent news:

Nitroplus-chan (CV: Misawa Sachika) will be released for the Japanese version of Victory II on the Dec 14. The character Seiniku ("raw meat") will be voiced by Yui Shoji.
Interesting to see a chainsaw-wielding chuunibyou this time around... On a slightly related note, I saw attendees of the IFI Press Event in question got to partake in some... interestingly named drinks:

Almost outta nowhere, God Eater-chan (CV: Ai Kakuma) will be available for purchase on December 25th (It also looks like the game's final Colosseum DLC is being released the day before, and as to be expected, is reserved for the true masters and completionists. Recommended level: 999+):
Idea Factory International also recently revealed a few items from the Neptunia VII (namely a PS4 skin, artbook, soundtrack and slipcover), with the reveal of the final part soon: Images Megadimension Neptunia VII Limited Edition Parts 1 & 2 Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?Compile Heart's latest game, MeiQ no Chika Ni Shisu (メイQノ地下二死ス), released today, and brought with some free collab DLC, where the character Estora can don Neptune's duds:

Nepgear in Sega Hard Girls game isn't a Goddess Candidate, she is a Goddess like Neptune, Plutia and Uzume.
The story was actually fun, I think it might be comparable to the main series and way better than other spin offs. The thing about changing history, how Neptune really treated Nepgear in this game is really the gold part for me. I don't really mind Noire, Blanc, Very, and other Goddess Candidates in this game. And Neptune and Segami always gets into pointless argument which is rather ironically entertaining, IF really have no luck in this series. About Histoire, there are two kinds of them. The adult looking one and child looking. No, Trick the Hard actually got it all wrong, even though original Histoire is still small. In the Victory version, Histoire is a size of a baby. Original one have just only one tone no matter what emotion she has and maybe emotionless while the Victory one has more than one tone and more expressive compared to the original. And there is Croire, I'm getting to her later. |
