Not just the skirt, you can hide weapons under that sleeve, which is why they developed the protocol of serving where both hands are visible so as to prove that they were not hiding weapons (or something like that)

I spent like 30 minutes trying to find gif's of underskirt hammerspace moments but I can't find any when I want to. I need to start saving images on my HDD or something >: ( Arggh I fail at the internet.

Mind you one would need something close in that doesn't explode, but has better range than a sword or throwing weapons. Also in case you don't want excessive collateral damage from the explosions. Explosions might damage one's figurine collection or DVD sets.
