If that happend, we are really screwed, not only the americans.
The funniest part is how she thinks she'd even make it past the primaries. Only the hardest of the hardcore like her. She'd get maybe 5% of anything beyond that, which certainly doesn't spell out victory.

Seriously, she in that position is not only making women leaders look bad, she is a shame when compared to strong women like Aunt Marge and Angie. Her way of doing politics are sickening.
Not only women leaders, but most republicans look somehow bad because of her.
About her way to do politics, I wouldn't say sickening but opportunistic and hypocrit, which isn't so different than what other do.

About another subject:

Is that a way for everyone to save the apparence ?

I can already see the attack ads. "When the going gets tough, Sarah Palin is gone" or "Sarah Palin's solution to Alaska's budget problems? Resign and let someone else worry about it." Something along those lines.
As has been demonstrated, the voters have amazingly short memories when buried under flashy soundbite ads financed by undocumented sources (like the Koch Brothers but you can insert your favorite ultrawealthy that scares you there).

That's even worse than before now as so many groups leaded by corporations can advertize in a indirect way agains a candidat without to have to indentify themself.

Billionaire Donald Trump 'may run for US presidency'

Yes please Yes!

I rather have him for run for the Republican nomination for President than Mrs Palin. And besides, it's Donald Trump.

He is a PROPERTY tycoon, hopefully he doesn't fix another mortgage crisis to benefit himself.

Then again, whatever happens to US property, he still wins in the end, seeing how he pulled himself out of bankruptcy twice.

True, but the people making the flashy soundbites for the republicans don't have such a short memory, and they're going to want someone who isn't going to cut and run when their approval ratings look like they might drop to start a reality show.

Look at the bright side: unless Obama pulls some miracle, if Trump inherits the situation in 2012, he'll be in familiar territory...

Seems like Qantas just had a series of bad luck, and the actual A380 incident is a design flaw in the Rolls Royce Trent 900 (Trent 972 and upwards) jet engines, of which 40 are meant to be replaced or updated...

(seems like my initial volcano ash assumption is wrong ^^')

I could imagine the opinionated media has not yet decided whats going to be their opinion on the matter (imo nonjudgemental news are rare, hence the low radar signature of this one).
