http://www.crunchyroll.com/ free legal stream for many anime series, enjoy assuming it's available in your region.

Crunchyroll has apps for both the iOS and Android operating systems. I run the CR app on my Android phone.
I've tried the PS3 app as well, but since I have a computer connected directly to my TV I prefer that method instead.

Hulu and Netflix also have a decent amount of anime that you can watch via their apps, however Netflix is mostly dubbed. Hulu has a decent amount of subtitled anime from Funimation in particular.

Hulu requires you to subscribe to Hulu Plus in order to watch on something other than a computer. You still get the ads, too.
Netflix is a subscription service on all platforms. Amazon Instant is another option. They have a lot of Funimation and VIZ offerings, and you can purchase individual episodes or seasons. Funi's offerings are dubbed, but VIZ only distributes subtitled series via streaming, even when you pay for them like on Instant. No Android option it appears.
