A little cultural note regarding the scene where Hirotaka asks Narumi if she wants to take a shower: in Japan, its common practice to shower before having sex, so a guy asking his girlfriend if she wants to take a shower could be interpreted as him suggesting they have sex. Of course that wasn't what Hirotaka was trying to do but it helps explain Narumi's reaction.

IMO most of her embarrassment comes from the fact she's known Hirotaka for so long, and never saw him that way until now. The pressure is higher than it would be with a regular guy. She's afraid to disappoint him. Remember she's someone who cares a lot about her own appearance too, hence her obsession with her underwear.

Also, let's not forget why workplace relationships are a minefield (they're why Narumi is no longer at her previous company, in fact). If something embarrassing happens in the bedroom, it's not like you can do to work and forget all about i - the reminder is staring you in the face all day.

Ok, this one's definetly a keeper. Most jokes nailed it for me, Narumi's faces are pure gold, and the final bit was adorable. God, I needed this.

The last part of the episode really blindsided me. I wasn't expecting this to get this serious all of a sudden. I really liked how they handled it too, it was an interesting subject to bring up, it felt pretty realistic and never really got dramatic. It turns out Hanako has a pretty vulnerable side. Really nice development for both couples, I agree.
I liked the jokes too. Narumi was on fire this week. I really like her seiyuu, I love it when she freaks out.

yeah, that episode was really powerfull, i really loved it specially the "little drama in the end" it really make me sad about japan and they "silence" and too cold way of being, while many times "actions are strong than words" some words or expressions like "i love you" are much strong than many actions(like giving chocolates gifts), japan really must change that part of they culture, they really stop being "tsunderes" and be more open, about themselfs and they feelings, toward the others anf themselfs, while trying to find out what the other person like is fun, being a totally "closed box" can be bad and make your love not feelings connected at all.
I would love much more series like that many of the generic series we get each season but still bad which 60 to 90% of the season series normally are somehow generics and being something different and unique is another problem in japan due to "mind hive/society mind set and copy already used countless times formules is almost a rule in japan. Very good serie so far, good comedy and good couples interactions.

Wasn't expecting the second half to get so serious, but it was well done drama. Never got too over the top and it was grounded. Both couples grew as a result of this and we got to see some of Hanako's well hidden insecurities.
That episode still had a healthy dose of comedy though

I just love the character chemistry/relationship between Kabakura and Koyanagi in this show. So every day life-like and their moments never ceases to amuse me so far.
Loved the Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball reference. Narumi knows her stuff!

The relationship between Kabakura and Koyanagi is interesting. Since end of high school, that's a long time. They seem to always been fighting, but you see when they're alone like previous episode or hinted at in this one on phone, they're pretty lovey dovey with eachother.
Hanako is a quick drunk.
