Whatever Wrath and Father might have in mind for Mustang, they're way too busy to execute it now.

Anyways... I've been wondering what Wrath and the Father have planned for him. I mean, they must have something in mind, right?

And nice pic, GaimeGuy. BONES sure seemed to have had fun with Roy's abs in episode 19. Pure fangirl stuff, lol. Not that I'm complaining...
Don't worry. Even the guys are drooling at his abs. They, and his face have "GAR" written all over them.

Atleast in one shot the anime outpassed the manga.

Who knows, with those abs maybe he's not bad at hand-to-hand combat either! (although we've never got to see him fight without his flame)

Actually, he's pretty badass in novel #4 when he beats up some bad guys then sends fire after them. It made him seem like a pretty good fistfighter!

He punched Ed and made him tumble once. That's got to count for something.

What are the novels actually about? Are these the written adaptation of the manga or does it follow a completely different storyline? There is absolutely no way I am able to lay a hand on these novels as few people even know about Fullmetal Alchemist or other mangas in my country.

They are side stories written by Makoto Inoue and illustrations by Arakawa. There's six in total, and are great reads.

Is that supposed to be him as the Fuhrer? Cause he looks pretty good in that.

Would like to see what Fuhrer Olivier would look like too.

nah, the rank is still Colonel, I think it's supposed to be from the funeral scene.

Or someplace else. I knew he's still Colonel there (I counted the stripes and stars) but obviously, when he becomes Furher, he'll be lookin' like that more often. Sweet...

One random thing. Who else is getting annoyed with the 'useless Colonel' jokes? Every freaking anime magazine I buy has to say useless Colonel on rainy days, useless Roy, hahaha. Really, I thought that's not so important - wasn't it just for occasional comedy and realism? But Japanese people and anti-Roy people seem to make such a big deal out of it.

And as we've seen by episode 19, if he has a lighter or any method of creating a spark, he's actually more lethal on a rainy day.

It's too bad we only see him do it once. I'd love another big explosion like the one from the Lust battle.

I just read volume 23 and was surprised once again at Roy's incredible badassery. He's terrifying when he's fighting Envy. I can't wait to see the right-and-left-hand fighting in the anime.

I just re-discovered that Grumman offered Roy to take his granddaughter as his bride. Grumman's granddaughter = Riza Hawkeye! Wow. Does that mean anything?
