Honestly I'm good and hyped. I didn't much care for the short anime since I don't think you can really get enough out of that format with this show. But another full blown season sounds great. They did a really nice job pulling me into the races and guessing at what might happen. And the characters are pretty fun.

Putting the focus on Teiou this time is an interesting move. But I suppose with that size of cast you might as well spread out the fun a bit. I do hope we'll still see a decent amount of Special Week and her circle of friends. Just with mostly focusing on different characters this time. Could work out nicely.

I think the reason for changing focus is simply they already covered Spe and Susuka's stories. Remember all the stories are adapted from real life and I don't think Cygames is interested in coming up with original stories. No doubt this season will focus on Teiou and McQueen's real-life events as well.

I enjoyed the first season, so I'm actually pretty happy about this. Really like the characters it seems like it's going to focus on this time, too.
