There's more quality in general. And in Tsugumi's chest as well.

It's one thing to put a lot of budget into a show, it's another to put a lot of really creative effort. This series does seem to have brought out a lot in SHAFT. And top quality SHAFT really works for a series like this. Since there isn't any plot to get in the way.

I thought I was watching Cowboy Bebop for a second when Paula showed up. Nothing like a jazz BGM to get the gun play going.

Loving Haru's OP, too. So much SEISHUN. How I wish Raku is half as cool in the show as he tends to be in the OPs.

They know the heroines make the series and put total effort into them.

I so can't wait for Haru now. Her interactions with Raku are gonna be twice as hilarious once animated

My body is ready.

Watched the first episode today...

Interesting to see how Chitoge comes up with ideas on how Raku would notice her. xD

But I wonder about the lock.. so something is actually stuck inside it? Maybe Chitoge's key would have worked if there isn't something stuck inside the lock - just speculating.

I have a theory that all four keys have to turn the lock in a specific order. The story they based their promise on as kids featured three other girls in addition to the princess, and each one of them opened a door. Chances are that the final key belongs to the promise girl.

I've always suspected that this short arc is significant to the overall story. (LOL, I used the word "story" in a Nisekoi thread. )

See, it's people like Chitoge's mom where you can't take this show (or its plot, or lack of progression of it) seriously. I mean, if she's really the big shot that she is, then the Yakuza-Gang rivalry shouldn't have happened in the first place as she could've crushed Ichijou's Yakuza family quite easily. XD

Oh yeah, forgot this one since Chitoge didn't appear last episode... XD

( ) Complain about how irritating Touyama's Chitoge is

Hana-san is wearing pretty damn sexy stockings.

I'm sorry, but that's what I brought out of this episode....

Feels like watching some K-dramas on this episode, just because Chitoge's mom is similar with those Chaebol heads on the dramas...

This is going to be a cheesy and boring arc.

I'm happy that Aqua from Birth by Sleep is voicing Hana.

The Gang Rivalry is a result of Bee Hive acting on their own accord, not Aldert's personal initiative. I don't think Aldert would even have dared to called Hana into this dispute either.

Actually, this is one of my favorite arcs in Nisekoi . This, I think was one of the last plot substantial arc for a very long time in Nisekoi, because it really gave an insight into the what Chitoge was really an heir of, and how it shaped her.

whoa... I thought they are going to introduce Haru early but it seems they jumped off to Hana Kirisaki's arc

and they even made Hana become more and more badass.. that gliding over building is anime-original material and it is too epic

Spoiler for as manga reader:

Hmm... I wonder if possibly Hana-sama and Mama Onodera might be related. From Mama Onodera's intro scene in the first season and Hana's this episode the two seem to have the same demeanor at times. Sisters perhaps? That would give an opening to explain why the sweet and timid little 5 year old daughter of a pastry shop owner would be at the meeting between two crime syndicates, right?

I like how the first thing Hana does upon meeting Raku is to inform him that depending on his actions she will either have him murdered, or personally deliver to him the virginity of her 16-year-old only daughter in a palatial hotel suite on the most romantic night of the year.

Isn't there... I don't know... something in between? Like, if he gets all of the work done but violates the dress code, he gets to take home some free leftovers from Christmas dinner, and a nice pen with the company logo engraved on it?

There's technically no such thing as "arc" in Nisekoi...
