Looks like this is getting an anime. Kind of surprised it's happening so fast though. I assumed Kodansha would have wanted to make this a long runner. Looking forward to it regardless I guess

This is one of Magazine's best selling new series and it's not even two years old yet.... no way it ends soon.

If it gets a two cour series what's the worry? Ao no Exorcist received an anime after two years and that was a monthly manga with with 20 odd chapters at the time. Granted they were 40 page chapters so it's worth 40 chapters of a weekly manga... but Seven Sins already has 73 chapters... and assuming it airs in Fall it will be over 100 chapters. Magi covered 110ish chapters (and they sped through things...) in its first run... the only difference is we won't see a sequel series six months later....

It's a pretty good manga indeed, it isn't among my favorites but it's an extremely fun read every week.

As a reader of this series, I can assure that this nothing NOTHING at all like Code Geass. The Arthurian legends are where the similarities begin and end, and that isn't even an important part of NoT.

I agree. I don't see any similarities with Code Geass. It plays in a fantasy-middle-ages-like-world, no science or technology there, but instead demons, fairies, giants, over-the-top-superpowers, etc.

And I would argue AoEx would have been much better served to wait a while longer, because the anime was forced to generate a mediocre original ending to get two cours out of it.

I would have preferred a banchou/sins crossover first, like Toriko x One Piece...but since they're from the same author, it's probably impossible...iirc Nakaba had one with Mashima though.

I've been reading the manga from the first volume, it was okay and then I saw the CM, that looks awesome. I really hope A-1 Pictures won't animate it, not because they're bad or something, I just don't want them to animate too much stuff since they already planned to produce two new series this fall. I can allow anything but A-1 in charge of animation, I'm betting on either C-Station, Wit Studio or Manglobe in charge of the series.
