^ well now, Rudra has been “corrupted” since a long time ago. If anything, he only deserved tombe ridiculed by his naïveté, even more so than that of Rimuru’s
and who can blame him for underestimating Tempest? Rimuru is an abnormal entity with the most bizarre fortune with monsters Quote:
So the sword is also Rudra? Quote:
Of course, Ciel may be able to find a way, but I doubt she’d do it

it's just like you should follow Communist since everyone is EQUAL yet in reality it's just another Million of Mass Murder Serf (well i'll call it Serf since most citizen of Soviet Union doesn't have Human Right) system under Communist Regime ( I'm not gonna call it Communist since Communist doesn't have any State, Currency and Class thus those so called Communist Regime is just another form of Fanatic Socialism which the State in Grip Control on Almost every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible). well it wasn't Explain why Masayuki and Rudra appear at the same time line which is one of the main reason why Yuuki couldn't control Masayuki unlike the other Otherworlder (heck even Hinata was controlled by Yuuki prior her Meeting with Rimuru) but it's clearly Implied by Rimuru at the Epilogue Chapter. the Sword isn't Rudra but a copy from Rudra that was created by Velda (just like Milim's mother which was created as Justice King Michael's Form while the real Lucia was already Dead long time ago). there's no way the Manga will show the Genital bruh since it's not an Ecchi neither Hentai. and it's clearly stated in Novel that Rimuru could create a Reproduction Organ too you know and even if it isn't why He couldn't recreate Genital ? |

vol 3 of the LN just came out in English, were Zegion and Apito (and the labyrinth guardians) just extra that were added on later? because the author skipped their early introduction
and man Zegion is so cool even in pure insect form

Some kind soul has commissioned for the translation for the last remaining chapters of the WN, now up to chap 238. You can google it,
I have a few questions tho Spoiler for 238:
Anyway, I have always how this novel seemingly tries to balance things out. Yeah, there has been some power creep, but the scale has been pretty consistent due to some characters e.g. Guy and Milim

I put this series on-hold after the first in-depth explanation about the parallel timelines and how Rimuru dies in most of them before even becoming a demon lord. I am waiting for the (readable) TL to finish.
Does anyone know of a scene that involves a "normal Slime" that's not Rimuru? Because I find it odd that Rimuru started off as a "normal Slime" (taking aside the reincarnation cheats and Veldora adopting/naming/blessing him and letting him consume himself) and yet I can't remember a single instance where a slime other than Rimuru was shown. So does such a scene appear later on? Or in the side-stories perhaps?

^ "normal slime" is mostly mentioned, and presumed that Rimuru's original appearance is that of a normal slime in this world: round, transparent with maybe a bit bluish in colour?
on the "mention" is Spoiler for WN spoiler:

Which means we'll at least get up to the part where the scientific experiment of "solar rays of doom" appears. I would be severely disappointed if the anime didn't get up to that part at least.
Walpurgis Night is optional. If the anime staff decides not to go up to there to keep the pacing more stable I'd be able to understand that and it would make a potential season 2 start off with a grand spectacle, which also wouldn't be bad. They did show Guy Crimson in the OP though, so who knows... but that's not neccessarily confirmation. The first Overlord OP also showed the lizardmen, but they never appeard in the first season. I must say I have to chuckle every time manga-only readers call Rimuru a goody-two-shoes or say that the story is totally light-hearted Or the fact that they claim that we'll reach Shizu by end of the first cour around ep 12 or so how naive. It seems we have 3 major "tiers" of spoilers. The lowest the anime onlys who know nothing other than the PVs at most and maybe got spoilt about 1 or 2 things. Then the manga readers who are up to date with everything up to the adventurers registration part at least. The last tier includes all the LN/WN, both partial or complete, who have knowledge past Walpurgis Night. That's very different from usual, because usually it's simply divided into 2 tiers. In case of Overlord I don't remember too many people boasting about manga knowledge of the lizardmen arc. It was either anime-onlys or LN readers. Quite the phenomenom this is... But if it goes up to Walpurgis Night, we'll have the typical 4 episodes per LN volume adaptation, so it seems like the dwarven nation mini-arc will be wrapped up in episode 3... that's a bit rushed. Maybe they do ep3 up to the beginning of the trial and ep 4 up to the baka trio running into a tearful human-form Rimuru who just gained his human forum.

The thing is I noticed that one of the key visuals has Ramiris on it. That means it's pretty much confirmed that we'll get AT LEAST up to the Hinata fight, and in the worst case leaves us at it with a cliffhanger, but I don't think that's gonna happen, at most we'll get an episode that ends when Rimuru "dies".

^if that case the studio is really doing dangerous bet isnt it?
If this series is getting popular and end with cliffhanger, it will attract more hype and make season 2 come out faster. One the other hand, if it not... its going to stall and die by it own. Or getting index treatment (5++ years overdue for new season) |
