Saying Gundam SEED is original is wrong. It is based on UC Gundam ya know.
How it can it defy a UC law if it's based on UC? It's like ur separating Power Rangers from Super Sentai...

Huh? What? Where and when did I say anything about SEED being original?

I mean that there has never been any UC law about no sequels. That former law only applied to AU...

You're taking what I said and seriously twisting it beyond and away from what I meant.

Well, I think it was a good choice for her not to pilot Strike Rouge, there´s got to be a limit to how easy it is for teenagers to pilot the things trained military men can´t. And besides, you never know what she might could have done towards my pink princess. I´ve already lost one, don´t want to lose the other.

look those other au gundam series had one season while gs got 2 season(rumors of season 3 of gs).

also those au gundam series try to break uc's curse of season but failed.

until gs has broken the uc's curse of season when gs unleash gsd.

besides do uc need to keep on showing forever?!

the uc's is already 28yrs while gs is going to be 5yrs.

besides if those 2 gundam series gs & uc keep this up then get ready for a crossover gundam series gs meet uc!!!

D-KLAC, you're overstating your case. If you were trying to make a stronger argument, you just have to claim that the Cosmic Era shows are more successful than any of the non-UC shows. If you want to go on about how they violated UC "laws", then you have the much more difficult task of first establishing that those laws somehow exist, and other peripheral points. So far, your rhetoric isn't up to that task of doing that - you're much better off making claims that you can easily back up. Otherwise, your arguments won't go anywhere, and won't convince anyone.

Realistically speaking, more Cosmic Era shows are still likely to be in the offing, pending the success of the movie. At this point, it's just as much of a money-maker as UC Gundam is, and they are far less restrained in producing another TV show.

By the way, why would you want a crossover between UC and Cosmic Era? This doesn't seem to me like a promising idea at all.

hey i've hearing so much about the rival 2 gundam series that is gs & uc.

since those 2 are main 2 gundam series so maybe this crazy idea would be interesting for an future gundam series aniversity special that is a crossover gundam series.

besides this could be intresting for 2 different gundam series combine for one whole series old school uc meet new school gs.

They're only rivals in some fans' estimation. But people are willing to believe all sorts of silly things. For all practical purposes, it's superior to regard them as completely different franchises.

But what advantage would this confer? The reason why both groups of shows work is because they are completely self-contained universes. Putting both in the same show will actually reduce both universes' strong points.

On the other hand, if you're interested in which franchise has better mobile suits, we have that kind of thread in this forum. Ditto for comparing characters, organizations, and universes in general. I suggest that you explore this avenue instead of fantasizing about some sort of combined show that will likely (and hopefully) never happen. If you do want to discuss those ideas, then I suggest that you first watch the UC shows, and that you start backing up any of your claims with evidence.

despite i've been watching anime since 96 & that is now 11yrs.

gs series was by far the anime series that has really refresh anime series.

& i've this KLAC-feelings that there could be a 3rd season of gs.

edit: if you're referring CE and UC as rivals, they are in a McDonald's-Jollibee way... wherein Jollibee takes original ideas from McDonald's... I can make a list of characters in CE with their UC counterparts, and explanations how they are so...

Given that they, the DOMs and the GOUFs all have the same name, I doubt that they were trying to hide the fact that it was an homage.
