Go to the author's stream, it's fun to watch him draw the manga live. He's talked about what voice actors he'd want to play what characters and he's said he's hopeful about an anime someday.

Anyway after the latest chapters is obvious.
Too much erotism, they should censor like 50% of the manga for a tv viewing.
They could tone down the fan service but is good because the author brings it to the borderline and then breaks it without mercy.
But I still hope in one.

They'd probably just censor the shit out of it and make their real bones through blueray. Harder shit has been animated but I personally don't want an anime the manga is good as is.

ok, a bunch of conjeture about kanaka's fall is up from the latest batch of translated chapts.

i think this is exactly what that fallen god that afected her and her son wanted, perhaps hes trying to create a vessel for himself? i mean, the corrosing of her soul was lead right? it should be this god that wasnt destroyed and is laying low within her or first was in her son and then made fusion of amasogi and the dark obi, then took over her, dunno, something like that.

I doubt two of the most important female characters gonna stay dead for the rest of the series, although I would rather salute the author if he does pull it off and keeps the "dead means dead" route and does not revive both of them. Heck, most authors got problems with killing a side side side character off. xD
Well, ofc there are people like G.R. Martin who kill a dozen characters for breakfast in their books, but still, the norm doesn't kill off characters for good.

I also think Kiriha and Kukuri will likely be revived, but since we have best girl Kyouka now, their revival could be postponed until the epilogue, when Kazuya and Kyouka's son discovers Kiriha being hidden in the warehouse, then goes to the temple to meet Kukuri and start a new tale.

This can be debated. Not that I object to Kazuya and Kyouka being together, because I like her. But Kiriha has been my favorite for pretty much the entire series, and if she and Kazuya are never able to reunite it will just be far too sad.

As much as I like them, I rather the mangaka keeps them dead because if they do come back it will contradict the other deaths we've learned about so far and make it look like they returned only because of preference towards the MC. Besides, their deaths are his motivation, if they cone back then all of this will end up being an unnecessary detour/excuse just to "power him up".

...You think this entire series isn't about preference towards Kazuya? Him finding a way to bring them back because he's the main character and because he's willing to try something no one has ever tried before would be exactly the sort of thing a series like this does.

So because other series do it, this one also has to do it? Try telling that to the other characters in the series that had important peopel die and have possibly tried and begged for a way to do so. Also, when the gods themselves tell you that there is no way to bring someone back (and as we have seen a god die the same way a Kukuri in the past and also seen Tsugumomo die the same way as Kiriha) that should be a pretty big clue as to how the world is structured. What I like about this series is that so far it is consistent unlike the likes of DBZ and those other series afraid to commit to something and just pull off bs after bs.
