Not even a tablet my friend all by mouse...a pen tool and patience ;P. Its all you really need IMO. Thanks anyway .

Ah.. that's good ; ) I'm sure you're proud, like all artists would be. In fact, I started out with the mouse as well, spending two years on it before getting a tablet when I was about 19 (cheapest I could find in FutureShop). A mouse can do whatever a tablet can do, true, but the ease and speed involved is different.. ;> No need to get too proud of your mouse skills. I thought mine was good until I saw this 14-year old kid..

Anyways, still good work.

I also get the tablet comment every now and then when posting my traces. I do everything with the pen tool though.

Anyway, I think you have something really interesting there. Did you use the shape layers method with the pen tool? I always use paths, but I have been thinking about changing my "evil ways" for quite a while now.

Persona 3 is what the Haruhi pic with the gun is a parody of ... no guns in the Haruhi series.

The blue giants are manifestations of the expansion of closed space expanding to replace existing space. There is some interesting theoretical physics that involve quantum fluctuations that can inflate into entire universes. Read everything Stephen Hawking has written and get back to me

As you should have seen as the show went on, Kyon is anything BUT a typical male lead. "Pseudo-harem reaction"? Doesn't that only happen when the whimpy male lead is around ANY female, not just ONE?

Okay, I'll give you that... But I'll add that Kyon is still not used to Haruhi's direct way of dealing with things, especially relationships (and he still has to be honest with himself about his feelings towards her).
