So, some people are saying that the kaiju that flys, and the one that is featured on the banner fighting Eureka are one in the same. But...I honestly don't see it. You get a great view of the flyer's face at the end of the Wondercon footage, and it looks NOTHING, like the other kaiju (with the two horns on its head). They have two completely different looking faces. Does the kaiju molt or something, because I'm seeing two different animals.

Some new info from Del Toro posted in the fansite forum:
- Coyote Tango is an AMERICAN made Jaeger, but is stationed in Japan. - Crimson Typhoon had its cannon removed, apparently. He didn't say what the arm does instead. - The Jaeger seen on the cover of the graphic novel is called Horizon Brave. - The Jaeger seen in the Wondercon footage during all the news reels is called Romeo Blue. - 7 Jaegers appear "active" in the film and 2 more "passive" or as BG but 4 get big screen action. 7 kaijus do battle, and four more appear in archival footage or as remains. Plus two king of Aliens. - The Japanese solo Jaeger Tacit Ronin appears in doco footage.

Those posts are taken from a website called Del Toro films. It's a fan made website for all things Del Toro. Occasionally he posts there providing clarification on somethings. I was the one that brought it to superherohype. I post there as BrollySupersj, small internet eh?
I was browsing the Del Toro site and saw those bits of info and wanted to spread it. Here is the forum where I saw his posts. http://www.deltorofilms.com/wp/forum...forum.php?f=17 |
