Anyone here got the Yoko 1/5 Scale Gift figure?

I was thinking of hunting one down but I was after some first hand impressions.

Finally got my hands on Max Factory's Sawatari Makoto. Been trying to get her for ages at a decent price, and still had to pay a heafty sum for an opened box. Came with dust and all but I'm happy

Just recevied my Nendoroid Louise . She's extremely cute and is now placed besides neno saber lily and zange . Only gripe that i have with her is the connectors that join the front and back of her head are a bit loose .

Besides that i'm pretty pleased with my purchase . Got her pretty cheap too , bout US$30 .

Got to love that Saber figure. I'm only just discovering the Visual Novel now after being captivated by my Saber Lily and I must say she has me smitten.

Oh Kitsune, I spy a bit of a Saber collection...

Any chance of some more pictures and maybe some links to the figures? I've got Saber Lily so far and I just found/brought that 1/6 Scale Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and the GSC 1/8 Scale Saber figure.

Greetings,

I come here searching for advice.

My situation:
I'm a fan of samurai champloo and I really like Jin's character. Destiny, in an unprecedented act of friendliness, wanted me to find this figurine:

My problem:

Personally, I think it's quite impressive an all but, I can't help being a little concerned about his face. Doesn't it look a little too much...Japanese? (I mean, I know Jin is Japanese, but in the anime his face is depicted as more delicated than that, his eyebrows are thinner etc.).

For the sake of comparison, let me show you a Jin's action figure whose face is, in my opinion, accurated:



So, taking into account that this gem is not precisely cheap (around 150€) I don't know if I should buy it.
Note: I don't like action figures, so simply purchasing figure on the right is out of question despite me liking the face.

How you can help:

I would really appreciate to hear opinions of those people who:
a) Own the figure (best-case scenario)
b) Know the character and can opine whether the figure makes him justice or not.

FINALLY! Got my Saber Lily figure.

This has the coolest looking base I've seen out of all the figures I own.

I know the Unlimited Blade Works movie is coming, but they need to make another anime series based on Unlimited Codes. That armor is nice. I'd love to see her fighting in it.


Also, got me a copy of the Kotobukiya 1/6 Corticarte Gemaga ver.. Had to go through a third party for it since it was only available through mail order from Gemaga or the Kotobukiya webshop exclusively.

The lingerie pieces are made of cloth. The pantsu are already on but the top and ribbons were attached separately.




Comes with a silky pillow.

It's a decent looking figure, but I don't think the face is captured very well. It looks ok with the glasses on. Faces can really make or break a figure, so it's ultimately up to you. I own a Moka Akashiya figure that doesn't have a very well done face, but I still like it. I got that Corticarte figure because I think it's a good likeness of her original game design, not the two versions of anime (neither of which did her original design much justice).

I also own a Corti figure which I quite like. I considered purchasing the 1/6th Gemanga ver., but felt the colouring was off on her. How do you like the colouring Mushi?

I think the coloring looks just fine. The images I posted are a little on the dark/slightly over-saturated side, now that I look again. My lighting is just a couple of lamps with "daylight" bulbs, so the color may not always be entirely accurate. But it's close enough.

She's the most "erotic" looking figure I have, now. I'm usually not into that type of figure and prefer ones that show them as they appear in the animes... the cute/innocent/feminine/flowing-garments-and-hair type stuff. I just wanted it because I think it's unique and it's a pretty good rendition of her original design.

I also like that Good Smile version. I'm still thinking about getting that one, too. Other things just seem to end up taking priority, though.
