From what I remember of Rajion!, she was kind of quiet compared to the other members. She seems pretty lively during sphere events, but again, is quiet during interviews and the like. Kinda forget what went on in Ran Ran Lantis, since all I remember is Ayahime talking a lot and me falling asleep.

Kotobuki is still young, so she'll [hopefully] learn to talk a little more. I'm thankful she didn't pull a Tomatsu Haruka when she was Kotobuki's age. I can only take so many "ano" in an interview. And thank Kyouka-sama her stylist isn't a complete tart, too.

Toyosaki Aki singing normally isn't too different from Yui.

Both split my ears, but Kotobuki Minako saves the day. Especially when she swings those hips, wtfwaytobejailbait.

Perhaps its "too high" if you're not used to the sorts of voices in Japanese singing? Listen to enough Japanese or Asian singing and you'll stop noticing it as a problem.

Yui's voice is bad? I actually like Yui's singing.

My conclusion for all 5 versions of Let's Go: Mugi > Yui > Mio > Ritsu > Azunyan

Has anyone managed to have a remix of Let's Go!, mixing any two of the girls together?

Again, Yui + Mio remix owns, HARD. Can Toyosaki and Hikasa form a duo, now, at once? Also, will I ever have that Yui + Mio remix of Don't Say Lazy?

I would say: Yui > Mio> Ritsu > Azunyan > Mugi
I found Kotobuki Minako vocals kind of weak in Mugi's version of Let's go. Respect to Aki Toyosaki for keeping Yui's squeaky voice though out a song.
What we need now is animated After School Tea Time gig as OAV, with all the songs ^^.

Aki Toyosaki's voice is actually pretty high and nasal (ie, Yui doesn't sound that different).

Yeah, I would have to agree I like Mio and Tsumugi's voices best singing. Otherwise, I love the way Yui talks.

Heh, which one is Minako in that video? I can recognize Aki and Ayahi, but both Minako and Haruka are tall, long-haired and gorgeous.

Mio lacks that cute aspect in her voice, while Yui obviously doesn't have that steely edge. Combining both voices is a real work in synergy.

Kotobuki Minako is the shorter one at 158cm. Tomatsu Haruka is 164cm 165cm now? I heard she grew 1cm.

But in case you're interested, Tomatsu Haruka is coming out with a photo book and Toyosaki Aki is going to have her own solo single Oct 28th, which I don't understand when all the sphere members have said Kotobuki Minako is the best singer....

To clear up any doubt:

--> Kotobuki Minako

--> Takagaki Ayahi

--> Tomatsu Haruka

--> Toyosaki Aki

They've done another single / video, "Future Stream" (Hatsukoi Limited OP).

Here you can see Sphere, and therefore Yui and Mugi's seiyuu, in a live interview. It's from the tv show Run Run Lan, july 24th, 09. They were promoting the (at that time) upcoming Super Noisy Nova single. Notice how calm and peaceful Kotobuki's voice sounds in a real life contest (in contrast with the extreme cheerfulness of Tomatsu Haruka). You'd never tell she voiced Mugi-chan.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Sitting from left to right in the interview, Tomatsu, Kotobuki, Takagaki, Toyosaki.

Have heard Tsumugi's image album, and it sounds pretty good, it seems that Kotobuki Minako is pretty good at singing ... although Let's Go is a bit weak...

but, I still like some of Aki Toyosaki's songs in K-ON! though...

Let's face it: the production team behind the K-On albums are probably paid peanuts (that goes for the lovely seiyu-tachi as well). PC really found themselves a gold digger.

Add another album to the lot:

The compilation album "TVアニメ「けいおん!」オフィシャル バンドやろーよ!! (バンドスコア付)" (PCCG-963) was released today.

It contains two CDs and a band-score compilation and costs 4500 yen.

It looks like a good offer, somehow. I also wondered what will be its ranking, compared to the previous albums.

I hadn't thought that the band score CD was going to be counted as 'music' since the book is the main draw of the package, but apparently Oricon disagrees. The package debuted at #4 today with sales of no more than 18,226. I guess the PC onslaught isn't over yet...

Well, that, and the girls. They are the gold diggers. I just hope that they don't get big headed (coughHiranoAyacough).
