Finally managed to watch this yesterday once some good subs actually came out (the fansub scene seriously dead isn't? Oof) after like nearly 2 weeks.

Really enjoyed it. It was nice change of pace from the main series this one few times the cast could relax for once instead of being drawn into life and death struggle after another. It takes place between ep 11 an 12 so if aired then it would have worked as nice breather episode. Humor was on point for most part especially if your a fan of the show, there were lots of little nice character bonding moments and interesting for foreshadowing not just for the following arc, but even the next one after it.

That said if you don't have some fondness for the series you won't get as much out of it, but for me and others just seeing the characters animated on screen in something substantial is such a joy after 3 long years.

Was laughing when Ram was suffering from the cold, and she's verbally abusing Barusu.

Also Puck joking about try remove the fire from the fireplace so everyone freeze to death.

Emilia always so kawaii, and she has some new clothes here.

Hmm, Rem is not affected much by the cold?

Beautiful ice sculptures by everyone. Three judges, so it's a fair contest.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. Relaxing, and it's nice to see everyone again.

I should have said "compared to her red hair onee-sama". Look at Ram totally shivering to death even with I'm assuming to be layers of clothes plus ear mufflers.
The way she throw those insults to Barusu made me laugh a few times.

On something else. Also nice they gave us a few more hints on the relationship between Roswaal and Ram.

Yeah, Ram is definitely more brutal here than in main series with her barbs.

The Roswaal and Ram actually had more hints about how she felt about him the books and in Isekai Quartet. Unfortunately it's just one of those things that wasn't quite emphasized in the main adaptation due to time constraints.

A few more things in the OVA. I was surprised Ram did not react violently when Puck joked about putting out the fire in the fireplace. xD

Also nice to see Emila likes to play fair. Telling Betty to stop using magic because the others are only using their hands and tools.
