She and Akame will always be my favorite character from AgK Good episode with a lot of actions...Significant improvement from last week 'quarity' can't say the same for the music though...it felt nonexistent, and Stylish's weird/annoying voice didn't help either

Good episode, I like the arms race between the two fractions.
How they keep trying to one-up eachother, and with both sides losing members, it really brings a balance of power in the narrative. Looking forward to the introduction of the other newest member. I'm also curious to the other group member's interactions with the human shaped tengu. Its suppose to be just a weapon that's controlled, but its going to be easy to forget, and treat him as an actual human being. It might also gain some self-awareness as well. Also seems Dr. Stylish has the Titan's formula. I think Justice-chan will go even more insane now that another mentor of hers got killed by the same night raidpeople.

The first time she was shown hurt by the enemy, she was incapacitated for a long time. Guess it's better than being cut apart or poisoned, but that makes her look so much less durable and resilient than the others. More importantly, she's pink, she's cute and she wears cute clothing. Look at her. Look at that dress, that rose, that ribbon. This kind of appearance, in a series where people drop like flies, doesn't exactly reassure you. Thanks to those, her death glare has 15 times more dose of "HNNNNNNG" than "she looks badass" injected in it. On top of it all, she's got that huge death flag hovering above her head ever since the death of her scissor comrade hit the screen. (Which, when we're at it, looks like it might break her from its actual weight before it can even convince the plot to do it.) Why Takahiro? What are you trying to pull off here? You're scaring me. Meme gun gets more powerful the greater the danger she faces. So its in her own interests not to dress or act too stealthy.
Also, her gun seems to be an energy cannon so yeah, no bullets to dodge. Did anyone else catch in the preview a scene where Esdeath is comforting Justice-chan. I take it she does not take well the news that Dr. Stylish is dead. I'd almost feel bad for her if she weren't so crazy. I wonder what the new girl can do. She didn't join in the battle at all so perhaps her skills were not useful in a big battle like this episode. Last edited by bigdeath; 2014-09-14 at 19:53. |

Normally best to just blast from range and safety, but the firepower is at its best when the situation is more dire. I suppose it's good though to have a weapon that can get the job done when things reach their worst point. Considering the guy that dropped down was a Teigu I just presumed the girl was the user. But considering we didn't hear her giving any instructions maybe that isn't the case...
