My first thought of seeing Irimi and Koma was that they looked liked ghoulish-zombies rofl. The impact of that scene was actually well done imo. The justification behind it, not so much.
Bringing back Eto and Naki is a solid meh situation. Eto's death was done ambiguously and Naki's was great. Now she's revived without a head and Naki looks like nothing happened to him at all. Feels like too much forced hurrah to stretch the chapters out and without a real need at all. Even the confrontation between Amon and Donato and Uta vs Renji felt better executed. You could just have Renji and Amon showed up to sweep the field instead.

The announcement was indeed about the ending. Only three chapters left. That's less than I expected, this is going to be super rushed.
As for the chapter itself, Furuta is dead. He got a better send off than he deserved. The most important thing in this chapter though is Kaneki stating he doesn't regret what happened to him.

Woah wait a second only three chapters left? No no that is too short. Maybe 10 chapters...(That is including the epilogue) would be ok. Now is the time for the rushed ending unless there is yet another sequel but I doubt it.

Only 3 chapters left. Unless there's a part 3, which I highly doubt, it looks like we'll be getting rushed ending just like Bleach's.
Furuta is a character I'm sort of in two minds about and even if he comes out favorable, he still wouldn't be one of my favorite characters from this series, but he got a pretty good and emotional send off. Kaneki stating that he would still gladly go meet Rize if given the chance to avoid it all and stating that the "World just is" were well done scenes. It looks like the Fool has completed his journey.

Kaneki's monologue was really great.
Rize was dealt with in only one chapter, she was brought back only to give Kaneki some closure. Didn't even get to say a single word. In the end, she turned out to be more of a character in Kaneki's head than in real life where she spent most of her time inside containers or tanks. They did do something with it. Kanou examined it and came up with a better procedure for ghoulification thanks to it, later used to create the Oggais.

So newest chapter out and......
2 thing I don’t get? 1. What did kaneki do to bring down the tree? 2. So Eto dead? What??? Maybe it was one last breath of life before she pass away being all trolly to V. So what plot thread do we still have left to cover before it end next week? Cause like all manga there always 1 or 2 story thread that the author never fully cover and has to drop it.

The main thing the final chapter needs to do is tell us how ghouls and humans are going to coexist. Then show us the fate of each main character, and hopefully do the same for some minor characters like Shirazu's sister. I don't think there's any real mystery left besides what happened to the legendary One Eyed Ghoul.

Well next chapter is the end. It'll probably just be an epilogue showing the after effects of this fight and what happened to all the characters.
V was a real disappointment. They pretty much got completely off screened.

Few points:
- Naki coming back to life after an epic death, and then appearing like nothing happened to him with the rest of the group... Seriously? - It's totally noticeable the rush on this one, it kind of reminds me of Bleach. - V and Kaiko being a huge disappointment, especially the last one, who trained the most overpowered character in this series (Arima) and just dies with his head being chopped by one of Arima's dogs without even showing the fight.
