Very good episode and again a near perfect adaptation of the manga as usual. The fight was animated beautifully and I have to say that I hope they keep this up with the fights to come.

Next episode looks to be good as well. We are sticking to the manga still though I expect that until we finish the Kishin arc. Next episode introduces Soul's little new friend and the room. That is surely something I look forward to seeing.

As BlackStar says himself, he's just too early for the times . Have to say that pair pretty quickly became my favourites in this series. Though I like the others, since its a good group. Of course these episodes just helped to add onto that.

Black Star really was pretty serious when asking Tsubaki if she wanted to still be his weapon. After all she joined Shibusen to settle things with her brother and that was taken care of. Though if she left who else would be able to handle the guy ?

i really loved this episode, tsubaki and black star is my favorite duo, but they are only a little over the other duos. it is hard to hate the people in this series.

Truly a great arc. It was dramatic, emotional and touching, I didn't expect anything this epic so early in the series. Tsaubaki is my idol.

EPIC!!! WOW!

I know Im late to the Tsubaki-love party but omg she's cute!! Espc as a kid Mad props again for BS in this epi. I really loved him taking the beating and not fighting back so Tsubaki could do her thing but then protected her when needed. The hug thing was adorable, totally didnt expect it, so cute.

Lunch break made me LOL as well as Liz crying histarically and Patty just saying "there, there."

That was a frigging sweet episode. 10/10

Just don't like to watch Tsubaki bleed. She's too pretty to bleed! At least it was only a fight of souls, and not the real world. I love the new Fey Blade mode!

Oh, and Black Star is just like a mini-Kamina from TTGL. Always pointing at the heavens, and surpassing God and the like. I think Tsubaki and Black Star are my favorite team.

The hug was may highlight for this ep easily. Followed by the head hitting scene where he doesn't back down. That is so touching...
And he should have pounded that kid into a pulp T__T (his voice grinded me...too much...).

Well I certainly wouldn't have predicted something like that would happen. But very good job by Black Star to realize how hard the loss of her brother was to Tsubaki. Though his family was taken out when he was really young. Kind of reflects how being with this guy has allowed her to show her true self more often.

I'm with you in that Tsubaki really shouldn't get cut up like that. Of course it was her fight and hard to believe she'd get out of it unscathed. Since it was a battle of souls the only one visibly beat up after this was Black Star.....and that stupid kid who deserved to be hit earlier.
