We're also getting an RG Astraea and Astraea Type-F apparently, though online exclusive only:

RG Astraea normal can't be online exclusive, it's too cheap (1900+ yen vs 4300+ yen)

GG did say that the Astraea RGs are add on parts

So probably lots of parts and weapons to add onto the RG Exia frame

(which you still have to buy on its own, lol Bandai you trolls)



EDIT:

Type-F have a standard exclusive release price and DOES NOT have the part set in the name

Normal Astraea does, so the normal is add on parts since most of the colors are the same, hence only needing part swapping and new weapons, while the F requires the whole package recolored, and going by the HG, tons more accessories hence the full price full kit release

You can't, online exclusives are the 'shiny' equivalent of gunpla for Japanese collector. It's a feature not a bug.

What's offensive is that they release BOTH Astraea as P-Bandai exclusive.

Then i'll have to make it clear in the only way bandai understands. I'll stop buying gunpla.

And yes it's offsensive that they release designs as popular as astraea as exclusives! Plenty of ugly UC suits to release as exclusives instead!

The only external market they actually care about are ones in East Asia. Europe and US? Not so much.

I like the grey you added in, it really does help bring out the details

I also like the Marasai, however I prefer the UC coloring, and could not justify the amount of cash charged for the exclusive release/ Owell, will probably just get the HG at some point

I don't see what everyone's problem is with the kits. The solution is simple. It's called paint.

They're model kits. you're supposed to put effort in building them. If you don't want to build kits, then buy a Robot Damashii toy.

Building does not equal painting.

I like building, i hate painting.

And those 2 can be done apart.
If i wanted to paint, i'd buy canvas not gunpla!

Robot damashii has it's own flaws, notably in the accessory department

- Then why the hell are you even bothering with plastic models? You know what, don't answer that. Forget I asked. I'm one of the people who builds plastic models that are molded in one ugly gray color, require glue, paint and hours of work to look halfway decent.

You know, someday, somebody's going to go to me in person whining their @#$ off about why Bandai's kits aren't the right color/why they have to assemble their toys/why can't they just have the kits premolded in all the right colors...

...one day someone is going to say that and I will grab a piece of sprue and stab them to death with it...

Today someone came $%@#$@ING close to making me do that. Moron demanded the hobby shop refund his money because the aircraft model kit hebought wasn't pre-assembled with all the paint and decals already done.
