Y'know, I probably shouldn't have said that since his offical anime image hasn't been released yet (although he is posted in the staff list). AS is overzelous about 'spoilers', so I best not risk an elaboration.

On the other hand, the offical site released this image... whicvh is the same as the main page...

You know the drill: today's Sunday, we're getting a fifth CM.

I was wrong when assuming that the next character to be featured would be Shiemi - this week is actually Mephisto Pheles's turn, featuring wonderful trolling by Kamiya Hiroshi. There was no doubt about it, but he does sound perfect in that role.

The premiere date has been out for a little while too, but this CM confirms it: episode #1 will air on April 10th.

Personally I don't think there's any reason at all to be pessimistic what with the sweet trailers and commercials they've released with such a great look to the show and music and that rather epically awesome staff they've gathered.

What is the artist who is doing the opening theme ? It was announced on the march issue of Jump SQ.

I had a gut feeling it would be them from the moment they announced a single released by late April, but I figured I shouldn't post over just my intuition... now it's just been confirmed, though. The OP will be performed by UVERworld, your best bet for Doroku/Nichigo themes

- the single's title is "Pride" but I don't know if that'll be the song used as the OP, it might be the untitled B-side as well.

Moreover, the ED is to be sung by 2PM, a Korean boy group that's been riding on the hallyu wave in Japan and which is already pretty damn popular from what I gather. This one will be their debut single.

UVERworld, huh? I like their songs, but it gets a little tiring when they've done themes for so many shows. What's this, now, their sixth anime? They did songs for Bleach, Blood+, Toward the Terra, D.Gray-Man, and Gundam 00. And now this?!? They're all over the place. Come on Sony! You've got a huge number of artists to select from, surely you can give other bands/singers a chance.

And what's with so many songs titled "Pride?" That was the title for High and Mighty Color's theme for GSD, and there's a song by SCANDAL called that for Star Driver. Hopefully, it's like what Katapan said and it's just the B-side song. "Pride" just sounds so generic for a song title.

As for 2PM... can't comment about them since I've never heard their music. Hopefully Hiroyuki Sawato can make a pretty good soundtrack, although doroku/nichigo shows almost never have an issue in that department.

Mondo Piece is getting released on March 23th, so I doubt it can be that one. Pride's release date is April 27th though, which corresponds to the anime's broadcast.

Even though there's no SutaDora this week, the production team most likely had a CM ready anyway, because the 6th one is up on the official website.
