So yeah, I started checking this out myself. Man, I gotta say that this has some badass battle scenes for what's ultimately a gag series. I especially love the juxtaposition between Saitama and Genos (super-serious cyborg and superhero who's literally bored from being overpowered ). Can't wait to see how things will develop from this point on.....

Well, the Japanese publishers start releasing their manga on web for quite some months now, probably over a year. Popular magazines are still released in physical format but the smaller magazines tend to do this now. The manga that got serialized in those magazines will be released as tankobon later. Also, once a new chapter is up, the previous chapter will be taken down immediately. It's not like most web comics and webtoons do.

BTW, looking at that color image, I notice one of the characters looks sorta like Hugo/Andore from SF/Final Fight. I can't wait to see the chapter where THAT character appears!
Also, my favorite villain so far was that crab guy from the second chapter (GLUBLUBLOL ). I actually kinda hope he returns in a future chapter (if he isn't dead, at least)..... |

The ninja. He's also a very creepy guy that looks more like a villain than a hero.
BTW, I understand after reading the later chapters why it's web comics now. Damn, think of action anime like Naruto, but on manga. Some of the late chapters only have fighting scenes where they run around the battle scene, waiting for impact etc. While most battle manga only show them in relatively smaller panels, this manga present those boring shit scenes in full 2 pages, multiple times... |
