Somehow, I can see M's death now. Judi Dench isn't getting any younger. |

No, I think it has something to do with happened with Vesper or perhaps something else from Bond's past. After all, the word "Skyfall" struck something in Bond's mind when he was evaluated by the psychiatrist in the first trailer. |

They had state explicitly that Skyfall is more about M's relationship with Bond. |

Well, with the advance screening and eventual early reviews, looks like Skyfall could be the best this year, and maybe even for the entire Bond franchise.

Got to ask before I even consider seeing it:
How bad is the 1) Shaky Camerawork? and/Or 2) Rapid Editing so fast you can't see individual shots? I have BAD motion sickness, and my stomach (and head) cannot tolearate CRAP like "Cloverfield", "The Bourne Supremacy" and ANY Ridley Scott film, which ALL think that by operating the camera like you are having a seisure in the middle of an Eartquake makes a film look "realistic" So how bad is it?

Btw, are you sure about Ridley Scott’s movies being shaky? I find the camera movement in his movies quite “tame”. For example: Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner, Prometheus, etc. They’re not shaky at all to me. As for Cloverfield, it's a "found footage" movie. They have to follow the "gimmick" of an amateur camera-person. What did you expect? Surely they can't shoot it with well-placed cameras.

Man, just checked theatres around me. Only one of the ones I like to go to is showing it, and they're only showing it in "XD" (not counting the midnight showing in digital). This is rather odd. I'd figure Bond is the kind of movie to open... everywhere.

Hopefully, I'll get to see again, but on IMAX, this weekend. How excited am I for this? I've been watching the trailers pretty much every day, and I rewatched Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace this past weekend instead of reading genomics papers

Watched it. It was really good. Granted I haven't watched the old James Bond films but my parents are huge fans and they say it was one of the best they've seen so far. And they indeed loved Adele's song for the movie.

Loved Skyfall, first half felt like a proper bond film, second half felt like a home alone film, couldn't ask more! Lets admit something though this movie was made to write off a main character which did have to be done sad as it is but such is life. Great send off.
