I know Amano and Chiaki are compatible and they have many things in common.
But Amano and Tendou are so good. They showed while they were dating they could be compatible too.
Their relationship started because of misunderstanding, but they decided to continue their relationship. They gradually developed thier relationship and finally, they loved each other.

I think Amano will choose the one he love the most more than he choose because of compatibility

Holy crap...What a mess...I went ahead and bought all of the volumes thinking that this might be a good romcom with all these crazy misunderstandings. Now we have Keita LIKING both girls just got me banging my head on the table like how Karen did in Vol 1. I don't hate Chiaki but I'm still sticking to Karen as the final winner.

I only have anime to go by, but I agree. It's not like Chiaki is a bad option, but Karen is just pure wife material. I really hope she will be the one who ends up with Keita.

I agree with u guys wholeheartedly. I don't dislike Chiaki but somehow she gets on my nerve sometimes and I'm with Karen all the way. I hope Keita makes the right choice.

Kinda interested to see where the anime is gonna place us as an ending point. Does Either Volume 3 or 4 end on a somewhat solid conclusion? I'm assuming for the anime we aren't getting to volume 7 material so Keita and Karen will still be together at the end of the anime.

Is it because Japanese monogamy's law that people think that if they keep harem without resolve will only lead brutal end to one of heroine? Why don't just take both?

Well, if my understanding here about Japanese is wrong in here please correct it by all means. I never go to Japan before nor do I do deep research about Japanese culture, my only knowledge based on novel/manga/anime that take place in Japan (not isekai

Some piece of work that not R-18 no matter it fiction or not, should not against the norm itself aren't they?
And from what I get is socially and law based they don't really have strict rules about men-women relationship (except marriage) that make it kind like they don't want to be really tied by the rule of monogamy itself that kind odd and non-sense
For example,
1. something like highschool second year spring for student (taking-off virginity) between boy and girl. No matter where I see this, act like this is allowed for them socially that make me wonder. (In my country, act like this will only socially ostracized, and expulse from the school. BUT the law itself like any other country don't really have strict rules too. Oh yeah, they stuck in age restriction here 19 for male in my country)
2. Something like college student couple living together. And they social allowed too (in my country socially its hardly allow)

Then why don't go harem end?
1. Legal wife and mistress. Or just for example
marry Chiaki > divorce > marry Karen (and TAKE CHIAKI HOME TOO of course) its not like socially banned for non-marriage living together. I'm sorry its like sound like a child talk from me but I consider this possible. If there is a problem civil status of the child they can have children first before divorce, as long as there is contract between them so Keita have to be responsible
2. About mattter 1 of course have to speak properly to their parents and the people they consider friend. As long they have enough guts and resolve, its possible I guess
3. The last volume state, Keita still love Karen and have a possesiveness feeling for Chiaki. As long he remember the feeling then he possesed the quality of Harem mc and having matter 1 possible.

People that judge about harem that just disturb relationship and make the girl sad first have to be enlightenment by the wonder of harem

First of all relationship of Chiaki and Karen is consider good. As long as they can change perspective or increase their tolerance over each other about Keita and have mutual aggreement over separate time being lovey-dovey then... No I retract about separate time, why don't go 3some, 3SOME is AWESOME.

Then here is another point. Do you think lovey-dovey time always last? No, it just a matter of time, last long 5 years. So when the time come with more people the awkwardness can be resolve much easier. Having a friend, family and rival at the same time will trigger the love too. And when they have a problem there are more than 2 head to solve. Having more people merrier right?

Sorry about long essay, people may consider harem end is bad end but what I see is possibility.
But that possibility can only be reach as long they have a good talk and conversation of each other.
And regarding this case where they always going a misunderstanding flow with no end, I guess its IMPOSSIBLE
