Why on earth would they block a promotion video? Isn't the whole point of making a promotion video is to let as many audience to watch that as possible???

Because we're not in Japan. The point of the PV is for people in Japan to know about the series.

While true, I don't understand how us seeing it is bad for them, or why they would of out of their way to block us form such?

I'm really excited about this, I loved the first season! Even got the manga

As for airing simultaneouslsy with Denpa Onna ... remember that SHAFT is done with the Negima OADs, so they'll have more resources available ... I hope at least, with that studio you never really know

Interesting way of thinking; promote for 100M and not for 6 billion, at the same cost. I really wish to know how many shows that MF C&D's actually got licensed, since they started this anachronistic policy. Still, it will be hard even to get get fan-art, it's a shame really

There's still no reason to region block a trailer.

A trailer should constitute Fair Use.

Well, it's not like they're the only ones. Bandai Visual trailers won't play on their cable channel's website if you're outside of Japan.

Trailers aren't Fair Use. It's someone else's property. Besides does Japan even have a Fair Use policy?

Region blocked...

...and two seconds later, my connection to the proxy server is complete, and I'm suddenly from Japan. I fail to see the use of such easily circumvented blocking methods.

That being said, looks like fun. Given how much I enjoyed the first season, it's nice to see it coming back for round two.

Btw, I have mixed feelings from the first season, the comedy was OK, but the plot(?) has a terrible cliffhanger at the end...
