A true man dates girls while maxing out all his stats (especially VIT so he doesn't bust his nuts too early during Friday Night Fever time)!

But...but I liked BBA for that reason (and particularly loathed that space game). It was rather realistic in that regard; that people who join your side still required a fair bit of treatment in order to keep their loyalties high. It felt natural as a gameplay mechanic and not some cheap artificial difficulty measure.

The item store concept in Kamidori was nice, but poorly executed IMO. I was wishing for some of the stuff you build - like the beds, or the baths, the outdoor kitchen, etc. to have activities tied to it to raise affection or whatever. Would have made for more fun diverse options. As it was they were just space-eating stat ups, with only some having events tied to them (onsen hurrah).

Yeah, after Lovely Cation 2 and this, I'll be drowning in LNs.

Holy fuck @ the elemental properties chart. How the hell am I supposed to memorize that.
There are also more defense types than attack elements, like spirit, majin, anti-ultimate, ... -_-

LOL. Last time I got frustrated I made a cheat sheet before I memorized it. I wonder how well the wiki entry is coming along. They're pretty through with this kind of stuff.

Commanders also get different skill sets depending on title. For example the 3rd commander can be changed to armed engineer where she gains battle-related skills.

I can't get used to Aru's voice. The kuudere image I had of her is completely shattered.

The 2nd territory to conquer is giving me some trouble: two of the armies there are fire types (which takes reduced dmg from my physical based attacks)... going to swap troops from knights to swordsman (fire base, more dmg, less def) and see how it works out...

^Useless idea: Swordsman die too fast and I lose my formation really early. End up beating it by saving up combo meter/mana/whatever its called and nuked the shit out of enemies using Aru's special.

BLITZKRIEG! My friend will probably yell at me for using that term, but anyway. BLITZKRIEG YOUR WAY TO VICTORY! I mean there was a formation you could use in soukoku to win every watch. I'm pretty sure theres one on koukaku too.

iirc eushully games uses old school xor mask for all the values in memory, good luck with that.

I am unsure what to do with the diplomacy settings atm. I chose peace/visit Eda for the first choice.
