Okay, with the announcement of CD Suit 10 being Kira Yamato x Strike Freedom, fans got screwed out of a Maaya Sakamoto song deal... why? I mean, you have a major pop artist and you completely ignore her like she's nothing at all? GG Instafail for Sony, Bandai and Sunrise.

Maybe they tried but it didn't work out?

I wanted to hear the Meer one but I never found it.

It's a bit silly to place blame when nobody knows the real reason... Maybe she didn't want to do one or didn't have time. She is working on several other projects at the moment. Though we don't really need another badly sung Hoshi song.

We weren't promised anything, so we didn't get screwed.

The cd itself sounds great, though I was really hoping for Kira x Athrun x Shinn taking place after the series ended. Though Athrun X Deakka x Yzak is great too~

I could swear that someone mentioned something about Maaya either stating she wasn't doing any songs, or that she only worked with certain people.

Face it, she knows as much as any fan that GSD was a failure. Maaya probably wants to distant herself from the series as much as possible.

Uh, actually, Maaya's new album, Yuunagi Loop isn't with Yoko Kanno. And it shows; it's quite different from her other albums.

I was hoping for a Lunamaria CD Suit, though. Ah well . . . but then, it doesn't really matter considering I have several of her albums to begin with. =P

Actually, she's not a "major" pop artist in the same sense that BoA or Ayumi Hamasaki is in Japan. Instafail? Probably not.

Maaya said in public to a bunch of fanboys that her favorite character is Shinn. Her reply was met with some "o_o"'s..... if that doesn't say something I don't know what does.

Actually, that was one of the questions that people asked her at AX at her panel. Everyone went "Boooo!" and she just turned her head and said something like, "Dame?" And then "Is that bad?" (In English, if I recall correctly. If someone actually has a copy of that interview, feel free to correct me.)

It wasn't boo, it was more like "oooooOOOOOOooohhh" like the same kind of noise everyone makes when you get called into the admins office.

At least Kira sings unlike Athrun suit CD! Does that mean this is the final CD suit that is going to be released for GSD?
If I didn't remember wrongly, Maaya did mention in an interview that she's not singing for GSD.
