Hi, I'm looking for something dark-fantasy related. I mean like, real dark. Dark to the point that when you're watching it you can be disturbed by some of the depravity of mankind in it. i'm talking claymore

kind of setting. Also with dark gloomy setting, sword fights/romance are a bonus. Things i consider dark fantasy are

Claymore
Berserk
Trinity Blood
Ergo Proxy
Elfen Lied
Texhnolyze

Pretty much anything that deals with how sick and twisted people can be

. Not that I'm sick and twisted, I just like exploring the darker side of humanity.

Kemonozume (didn't really like it... but def a bit twisted)

While in the past I have watched that which is sick and twisted for entertainment, I myself am not sick and twisted. I feel compelled to clarify this. (note: sarcasm (since people can't seem to catch my sarcasm on the intarweb))

Maybe Monster? Monster is more of a mystery though...no fighting really.

Most of the darkest and most disturbing anime/manga titles in my list have nothing to do with fantasy but since you have Elfen Lied, Ergo Proxy, etc. in your list, I'll take it then that stories with sci-fi elements count. I'm not sure if people your age would appreciate them but you could give them a shot anyway.

I double Hellsing, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Death Note and Gunslinger Girl

Also I'd recommend Tactics TV, Night Warriors, Chrno Crusade and Boogiepop Phantom

if you'd also like to check the dark reality ones go for Black Lagoon and Monster (already mentioned)

Basilisk it's sure. At the end of the anime I think all the characters are dead except one. It's pretty good. It's licensed by the way.

Now and Then, Here and There - it's kind of an old anime but really good and it seem like just what your looking for.
