hello can anyone please recommend me romantic animes?
i only watch animes with good-looking characters. i know, pathetic.
and i just just just feel that pervertic animes aren't romantic. i like them to be innocent.
i don't really care about the plot. T_T

animes i liked:
gakuen alice - i liked the natsume-mikan-ruka romance~
bokura ga ita - ahh, innocent innocent~
fruit basket - i liked the hiro and kisa romance ._.
ouran host club - i kept forcing myself to watch this anime even tho the girl character looked like a guy. but i really enjoyed the anime.
dn angel - daisuke and risa romance.
chrono crusade

i didn't really liked the kind of drawing but still:

pls dont recommend:
kanon
chobits - not romantic at all. kinda pervertic.
honey & clover
marmalade boy - didn't liked the drawing =(
fushigi yuugi

love hina - the guy character is kinda...

i want good-looking characters........................................ ....... T_T
any nice romantic mangas? w good-looking characters T_T

You can try Ah! My Goddess! It's extremely innocent and romantic. Well, there are episodes which are not main-couple-centered and they are less romantic, but the general storyline is about pure love.

petopeto-san ~ only 13 eps
pretear - only 13 eps as well.
kaleido star- well it's not centered around romance but it's a really good anime you'll probably like

Onegai Teacher
it has a romantic story i bet you will like it.

I remember tsubasa chronicles had an extremely innocent romance...
Victorian Romance Emma - a very subdued romance
Karin the blood giving vampire - pretty much an innocent couple I think

Well how about Strawberry Panic, eh eh? It's yuri and I liked it.

And just to tag on a question here: Is Lamune any good? I've watched the first two episodes and I found myself kinda lost, but maybe I'll get it later.

I thought lamune was really good. It was really "heartwarming" i guess. I second Strawberry Panic. Maria-sama ga miteru is also really good but the animation might be a turn off for some people. I didnt like the animation at first either but i found that the plot was good enough to keep me watching. Karin was also really cute

I also second Maria-sama ga miteru. Yeah I agree that the animation isn't too good, but the plot wasn't bad. I also recommend Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Definitely an interesting romance anime.

I would suggest watching Lamune too. It is one of the best romantic animes I have watched so far! It is very realistic and heartwarming. I would also recommend you to watch Kare Kano, it is very awesome and one of my all time favorites ^_^ I find the manga much better than the anime. For the manga, I can only think of Fushigi Yugi and Kitchen Princess. Kitchen Princess is very good and I'm sure you would like the boy characters. The cover of the book looks weird but the inside is very a good. I hope you would like it. And about Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, I find this anime VERY dramatic and sort of...Well, you just have to watch it to find out ^__^

I personally found the main character of Kimi Ga Nozomo Eien to be a bastard....didn't really find it romantic at all....

Chobits....not romantic? Chobits!? Did you only get a couple of episodes in? Oh well...

Didn't like Kanon, eh? Guess you wouldn't like Air or CLANNAD then....

Anyways, on to my suggestions:

Sola - A Beautiful anime.

Iriya No Sora UFO No Natsu - Another beautiful anime with a good story. Sci-Fi-ish though.

Natsuiro No Sunadokei - Only two episodes long, but really well done. I love how the main character does everything in his power for the girl he loves.

Remember there are 2 series of kanon. The first one isn't KyoAni, and I've heard it's really not worth at all
Kanon 2006 is really a masterpiece, is that the one your mentioning, swollenhead?
If it's not, I'd really suggest you watch it.

Uhm... i think you would like Shuffle, or Nogizaka haruka. You should also consider watching
Tokimeki Memorial Only Love, Myself;Yourself, Suzuka,Canvas 2 and Goshuusho sama ninomiyakun.
I must tell you that Tokimeki Memorial is a dramatic serie just like Shuffle(at the end) and Canvas2. Goshuusho sama ninomiyakun isn't dramatic and is innocent, just like Nogizaka Haruka and Suzuka

And uhh There is no Canvas 1, don't know why

If you are open to yuri (femalexfemale relationships), then I think that you might want to check out Maria-sama ga Miteru (The Vigin Mary is watching), as from what I've read, while the story doesn't have that many lesbian romantic relationships, it does center on lesbian romantic friendships (according to Wikipedia.).
