Something I noticed when I skimmed through Transcendental Magic (the book from which the Genius' names came from); Camaysar is, at least in the book, the Genius of the Marriage of Contraries, and is one of the Genius of the Fifth Hour. I don't know if the Hours are of any relevance to LH's plot, though.

Papus and Rasphuia are both from the First Hour, as is Zahun.

Did we get any info as to whether Zahun or Baglis were killed? Sislau was killed by the TRPG replay guys and Camaysar by Souji's group.

We don't know what it means, but suggest possible impending doom.

When Rasphuia said there's only "eleven hours" left, and when their time is up, Hora Octava will come. She feels eager for that time to come and her life as a rank 2 existence come to an end and die.

They're a little insane, so it's hard to decipher what any of it means, but when the 12 hours are up, however long that actually is, whatever is coming doesn't sound very good.

Scene starts out with the Round Table scene added to the anime in earlier episode.
The 11 members of the Round Table are being called "Decriments" by some, as they are one short of 12.

Eins brings up the issue of wealth disparity between Akiba citizens.
Those who have new technology to build their wealth on, and those strong enough to hunt out in the field, are gaining wealth, while those who don't have either of those are struggling to gain income for everyday living.
He believes Kuden (Overskill) and development of new products are the cause of the problem, and demands Kuden and crafting recipes be open to public knowledge.
When confronted with disagreements, he suggest they should take away wealth from players with more than 80k gold and redistribute it to the rest.

Eins base his fear on adventurers gaining wealth that used to be used to maintain Round Table's control over the zones.
Now that Shiroe has released most zones in and near Akiba, and working towards making North-eastern zones to be unpurchasible, there was no longer massive amount of wealth flowing into the Round Table from the Adventurers, and instead each adventurers's personal wealth.
He fears what they would do with it.
People who can't fit into guilds and society would be in disadvantage to those who are, and the wealth disparity will only get bigger from there.

Just like in the anime, the meeting ends with Shiroe telling Eins that they will work for a solution, but they can't force a decision such as this without consent. Or Akiba could potentially destroy itself.

At Log Horizon kitchen, Nyanta and Serara are cooking.
Since the catastrophy slowly lower level cooking are becoming available to everyone, regardless of their skill level.
Apparently it's additive with the Newly wed's apron, and skill points stack. Meaning, Serara's skills are increasing daily.
The two are cooking Chinese for dinner.

Nyanta is still disturbed by his exchange with Londark.
He knows anyone, including himself, could have ended up hating the world like Londark.
The only difference between them is where they were after the Catastrophe, and who they spent time with.
He sees Serara smiling and genuinely happy, and considers how much that meant to him.

Her innocense is something Nyanta left behind in the real world.
While that may be a sign of youth, it's also sign of prospect.
He asks her simply, if she was happy to come to this world.

She answers "yes" immediately.
True, she left behind her family, and not everything that happened after coming here was peachy,
but there was plenty good things to offset that.. besides, she has a dream.
She's too embarassed to tell him what her dream is, but he assures her she can make it come true.
But before she can do so, she wants to stand on her own two feet and become independent, become the "Serara" she wanted to be.

Her answer was what he wanted to hear, what he wanted Londark to understand.
She may not understand why he is deeply moved by this for another 20 years, but he is certain her answer has saved his soul.

Meanwhile, Shiroe stands at the balcony of his guild building, pondering on what Eins said.
He understands his concerns, but the drastic measures he proposed were unrealistic to enforce.
The Round Table is but a self-governing body, and not a centuralized Government.
While Shiroe acknowledges that may be an excuse from running away from responsibility, and they possibly could become an authoritarian government like Plant Hwyden, it is natural to not want such position.
It's hard to say which of the two organization has less amount of disgrunted Adventurers under their wing.
Plant Hwyaden did develop their society with efficiency.
For that, he must applaud PH's control over their governing.

The nature of the two organization is reflective of the Landers they associate with.
Westlande is a centralized authoritarian government, while Eastal is a Republic of equally powerful nobles.
But both interest are highly affected by the adventurers bringing new technology to the table, and any of it could start a war.

As if that wasn't enough for headackes, there are even more problems for Shiroe.
He looks at the letters in his bag, addressed to him - written in hand writing just like himself.

Akatsuki finds Shiroe and brings him a blanket. It's getting cold.
She asks Shiroe what's bothering him.
Naotsugu, and Tetora riding on him and arguing noisily as usual, also comes to the pair.
Nyanta joins them, and all of the elder members of Log Horizon gathers in one place.
They all have come to help Shiroe, as something is clearly bothering him.

Shiroe tells them there's something he must tell them, as he reexamines the letter he recieved.

Still a build-up chapter without anything significant happening, but looks like LH members are finally going to learn what Shiroe learned from Roe2's letter.

Hello, I am currently watching the anime and I noticed how their relationship is quite rocky? I did do some research onto to her background afterwards and I cannot help but sympathize of how she was brought up.

I wish to know whether do they make up to each other or how exactly is it as of right now (in the Light Novel)? I do hope that disregarding her obvious (I don't care about how she looks) alluring appearance, that Shiroe can help her get back on her feet and possibly have something happen between them.

Edit: I am a sucker for people who had bad times in their lives :/

Travelers are form of artificial life, created to serve for the purpose of their creator's society.
Both Fools and Genius are sent on a mission. To collect resources called Empathium.
Their society has reached a peak limit of the said resource, and no more can be found in their known universe.

Empahium is needed to create more Empahium, but before fully realizing this, they had exhausted their stock of Empathium.
It was too late at that point. Their creators have spend a thousand years with resource bottleneck.
They needed to find another universe to gather the resource.

They invented a mathematical phenomenon called "Backdoor", otherwise known as prime number crevice, to find other universe possible for exploration.
They were not accidentally caught up in the Catastrophe. They were caught up in it expecting the phenomenon, as the backdoor foresaw its occurrence.

There are only one single intelligent life in existence per universe.
According to Law of providence horizon, no intelligent life can come into contact with another.
And according to the Law of Contradiction, contradiction cannot exist in universe as it dissipates the moment is created.
According to these laws, their attempt could only end up in a failure.
But there was an exception, and this Theldesia universe is one.

The Traveler race considers the adventurers (players) as intelligent life form of rank 3 and above.
If that is the case, then resource ownership of Theldesia may belong to the adventurers, not the travelers.
The Genius act upon orders of harvesting, but the Fools mission are exploration.
Roe2 believes this matter needs to be investigated to confirm who can claim the rights to Empathium before acting.
She's headed to a place called Jaxea.

The Law of providence horizon may prove that of the three life forms observed in this world, the Travelers, Landers, and Adventures, 2 out of the three may be considered not a true intelligent life form. It's just a possibility, a tragic one at that.
The Eclipse (Catastrophe) affect this entire demi-universe of Theldesia, and the Empathium contained within is equivalent of 15% of Empathium found on their original universe. This is an amount that would normally lead to interstellar war in their world.
There are so many tragic possibilities that could happen due to the significance.

Roe2 advises Shiroe in the letter to find a way to communicate with the moon.
There is a community of Fools on the moon, and they should be observing.
The Law of PH implies we should never have been able to come in contact with each other, but if you Adventurers were to return to your own world, many contradictions would take care of itself on its own.

Finally, she advises against Genius.
They are rank 2 intelligent beings, and took over bodies of powerful monsters found on the moon.
In contrast, the Fools took over the same type of bodies as Adventurers.
The travelers are affected by the bodies they took over, so the Genius may have become very dangerous existence.
She then ends the letter bidding caution, and to make the right decisions for a better future.

After Shiroe finishes reading the letter, the older LH members gathered ask Shiroe who she is.

Naotsugu explains to Akatsuki and Tetora that she is Shiroe's alt on the test server.
Otherwise known as Ero-ko, because she was created with big tits. You can blame KR for calling her that.

The members discuss on the matter. An otherworldly beings... alien beings.
Shiroe breaks down the explanation for some of the members to understand easier.
Tetora jokes on going on a galactic tour

Nao points out how Shiroe doesn't look too terribly surprised.
Shiroe says he had a feeling something like this was involved.
If this is just a random fantasy world, there's no way it should resemble their game so closely by sheer coincidence.
Yet, to consider this is a video game world they were sucked into is equally nonsense. No technology available on Earth could explain this.
And the fact the law of physics of the world being mix of both real and game also doesn't make sense.
It's as if both of the laws were mixed intentionally.

He had a feeling there was someone or something that can explain this phenomenon from the third POV.
Not Landers, not Players. That person could have been Roe2. A Deus Ex Machina. Answer to everything.
But unfortunately she was no convenient god who has all the answers.
He gathered that the reason why the letter is cryptic, is because Roe2 was trying to explain concepts foreign to their own, but using our own language.

Shiroe guesses this demi-universe Theldesia is a sandbox of sorts that's being "tested".
And every decision they make has great meaning to the outcome.

Shiroe guesses the reason many information seem disjointed is because Roe2 isn't willing to tell everything, but Nao disagrees.
He feels it's written to omit things she "expected" us to know as common knowledge, not knowing that they aren't.

Shiroe concludes that as ridiculous this letter may sound, it's still nowhere near as absurd as getting stuck in a world similar to video games.

At the end of letter, there was a postscript addressed to Minori, humorously joking that how this is an attempt to send a serious letter. And may the warm light of your Empathium guide your way.

Shiroe and Akatsuki explain to everyone what he remembers seeing on the moon.
It was like a dream, but some memory of what took place still lingered.
What he sacrificed there on the moon was likely fragments of Empathium.

They need to get to the moon again, to find the truth about this world.

While the guild elders discussed, the younger members gathered and waited.
They prepare meal waiting for the long meeting to end.

Rudy ponders on Touya. His kindness is somewhat different from other members.
Rudy believes there are two parts that makes up a person, one is rule, duty, or discipline.
Something that must be done, what drives us to actions of responsibility.
For Rudy who was raised in a noble's house, noble's obligation is one.
The other part is emotion, instinctive, motivation. Actions motivated on what you want to do, not what you must.
The two can often be in conflict, especially when generosity is involved. You may have to make a decision on either acting upon how you feel, or what is the right thing to do.
Rudy thought becoming an adventurer and powerful would eliminate the need to choose the undesirable choice.
But he found out in reality, no matter how much stronger you get, choices will always have to be made.

He feels Touya, unlike the other youths, knew this truth from the start.
And he can act upon the choices without hesitation, even if he knows it cannot be accomplished.
That's why he stood up to Shunichi of Odyssea Knights, even when he knew his words would not reach him.

Tohya tells Rudy he's going home.
Rudy knows what he means by that. Ultimately returning to his own world.
Tohya guesses that is what Shiroe and others are discussing. The time has come to seriously consider this.
Whether they can go home or not, it needs to be addressed with words now.

He apologizes to Rudy for the decision, but Rudy feels it's only natural to want to go home.
There's no need for apologizes. Farewells is what makes encounters endearing and important.

This place they call home and friends were made because they came here.
But they didn't come here on their own choice. When he returns home, he'll make his own choices.
The girls return from kitchen with food, and the youngsters focus on preparing the meal.

Now the question is....to solve this problem they have to somehow make it to the the moon...Easier said than done... Even if u build a rocket there are factors u have to consider..

so let me see if i got this right.... The Genius and Travelers are artificial lifeforms that were created to gather Empathium which are basically the memories of Adventurers for their creators Aka The alien lifeforms from another universe... However They somehow ended up in this universe despite the normal law not allowing the possiblity to trAVEL TO ANOTHER UNIVERSE POSSIBLE...the elder tale one where the lander are the Lifeforms while the Adventurers aka earthling are lifeforms from another universe.... they all somehow converged here but As the universal law.... no lifeform can come into contact with another lifeform from another universe but Theledisia ( ELDER TALE)was an exception.

Now the major conflict is who this world belongs too ...and who has the rigths for the empathium in this universe. MEaning out of the three only one can truly exist in this place and the others cannot... Roe2 is suggesting that to solve this crisis is to have everyone return to there respective homeworld.... but with Travellers needing empathium for their survival as well as humans losing their memories not a good thing either...this would cause a conflict.... this is going to be deep.

-To make it clear here is how im undestaning it
- Elder tale IS the only universe it allows other Lifeforms from different universe to be there
-The Traveler And Genius Are Artificial LifeForms for another Lifeform that requires Empathium for its survival
-They Came to Elder Tale and Brought Earthlings from Another Universe in order to gain more Empathium
-If Nothing is Done to stop this...Eventually 2 out of the 3 lifeforms will perish as only one lifeform can truly exist in each universe
-The Gang now has to find a way to meet these lifeforms which are on the Moon.
-They must also find a way to get back home otherwise as stated above eventually everything will fall into ruin

I understand that previously there was a theory floating around the Japanese fan-base revolving around the tower the black dragon destroyed in Volume 9. IIRC that's a launch tower belonging to a real space station in that area (Gagarin's Start perhaps?). It's quite possible that the Geniuses destroyed that (and perhaps even others of its like) to prevent anyone from even trying to reach the moon.

If I'm not wrong, the S2 OP might offer some clue as to how else to reach the moon, or at least achieve contact with the Fools there. I read in the Bahamut Forums that the group of people that appears at the end of the OP is referred to as the "Shibuya Raid Party" by the staff. The NHK Broadcasting Center is also in Shibuya. What if this is Mamare's hint to us, that the next grand stage will be here, in Shibuya, at a dungeon situated within the Broadcasting Center?

About the conflict of Law:

This is just my theory, but notice how similar the "three life forms" became?
Players took over avatar bodies, and Travelers did as well.

I have a feeling that the Law that states there cannot be multiple intelligent life forms in a universe actually isn't contradicted.
Perhaps the three life forms in this world were adjusted to be the same, adapting them all to "theldesian" life forms.
