Touching anime
anyone knows of any anime that is touching , i've seen Lamune and i really liked it. i just need something that is like that , simple yet touching at the same time.
Fantasy / romance would be good too. like zero no tsukaima. and a short one is nice. prefably 10~25 episodes. |

Well only thing that I know that will fit would be Kannazuki no Miko. The ending is really touching and it's only 12 episode. It's very heavy on Yuri though.

Voices of a Distant Star - Its scifi not fantasy and it's only one episode, but I found it one of the most touching anime I have seen.
REC - This is a real-life romantic comedy that I found quite touching in the end. Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora - Another real-life romance, this one involving two teenagers in the hospital. Very touching ending. |

I think many slice-of-life shows have "touching" episodes. Ep. 2 of Bartender, for instance, is perhaps my favorite single episode of any anime show and definitely brought tears to these eyes. The episode of Hidamari Sketch where Hiro stays home with a fever is also touching in its depiction of the emotional bonding and care the other girls show for her. With some thought I'm sure I could point to episodes in shows like Asatte no Houkou, Hataraki Man, and other slice-of-life styled series that definitely touch the feelings of the viewer.

Aria (slice of life) (if you liked Ghibli's, then) Spirited Away (fantasy, a bit drama) Fullmetal Alchemist (fantasy, drama, a little bit comedy) Saber Marionette (fantasy, romance, a little bit comedy) Iriya no Sora, Ufo no Natsu (fantasy, romance, drama) that's as far as I remember for now EDIT: Haibane Renmei Chrno Crusade

Kimi ga nozomu eien~ eventhough it was more like depressing than touching ^^; 14 eps
I'd have to agree on Haibane Renmei (13 eps) and Kannazuki no Miko (12 eps) too, also short stories of Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (6 eps) and Shinigami no Ballad (6 eps). Should give Maria-sama ga Miteru season 1 episode 11 a try... one of the most touching story ever~ >_< |

Asatte No Houkou is touching and NOT depressing!
I think Manabe Straight is more touching than Lucky Star. I think even Azumanga Daioh is more touching than Lucky Star... |
