Finally had some time to play Double Spoiler. ZUN seems to be getting better and better at making games. <3

I'm currently at Level 8. Any tips on beating Orin and Utsuho's spellcards? 8-1 seems the most accessible one, but until now I couldn't get more than 5 out of 7 pictures.

@supertonia and leodamine: The easiest way to get out of Level 5 is completing Ichirin's first two spell cards (5-1 and 5-3). Don't expect things to get easier in Lever 6, though.

Question

Can anyone tell me a good place to purchase Touhou figurines?

I'm looking for a Patchouli Knowledge fig for my friend, but I can't read Japanese and this is all I've found in english:
http://www.toylet.net/thpvcpatchouli.html

If it was for anyone else I'd get him to help me, since he's fluent, but this is a surprise gift.

ooh, those Alice ones look nice. If I weren't so poor, I'd buy them. Though, I really want the Reimu plushie. It looks amazing on every level.

I did 6-3 through 6-10 almost effortlessly with only a few retries but I still can't capture 6-1 or 6-2 for some goddamn reason :V

If you're on Win7 it saves the replays into appdata/roaming/shanghaialice/

Just search for %appdata% and roaming should pop up, from there on it's easy to find it.

On XP it's "Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\ShanghaiAlice\th125"

and yeah, I hate lots of devs start to place the save location here or in my documents <.>

it's a total pain compared to the old days when it was...portable. Like, I can't just drop this into a flash drive like my other games.

EDIT: I forgot to say, anyone else having trouble with MoF? Not as in difficulty, since I already 1cc'd it, but for some reason now I can't run it without getting guaranteed frame rate drops during the first stage. It's ridiculously annoying.

Frame rate: What spec are you running on? Has this drop in framerate always occurred?

in my experience MoF and everything that comes after it requires a bit higher specs. Well for me switching to 16 bit in the costum.exe helps a lot

Went to Akihabara today and bought PCB and IN. If I still have money by the end of my trip Ill be buying the rest of the core Windows games (except PoFV; fuck PoFV).

PoFV has a special place to me, mainly because it's the only touhou game bar the fighting games I can actually finish.

So, figured out how to fix my problem. I threw my windows 7 into the basic theme, defraged my hard drive, and gave MoF higher priority. Now it runs like it used to. Also the other touhou games run even better than normally now, so that's a plus.
