Well that and Melty took what was HER'S. I imagine losing that to a child stung.

I don't really think "breaking the shield hero" is the end goal but the means by which to achieve it. The first time around she got all of Naofumi's money and equipment, as well as favor with the Spear Hero. This time she gets a dead sister. I don't think it's all that weird.
