I was kind of expecting a mental breakdown over losing her virginity in essentially what was an extreme test of endurance, or at least be a little sad over it. She's angry with him and wants to kill him, yes, but she seems to get over the whole rape thing fairly quickly. And her refusing to eat or drink when she obviously needed it really just came off as a childish way of dealing with situation, aka pouting.

It is amusing how Tsukumo's plan for her is basically have her succumb to Stockholm syndrome, even if so far (chapter 9) he seems more afflicted with Lima syndrome than she is by her intended syndrome.

Hasn't been much thievery yet for being a thief.

I guess she already give up the moment she is kidnapped or midway the rape and then Tsukumo intention and slight bit of kindness confused her. it's also possibly her strength that made her get over it quickly. Tsukumo is actually kind, but he is "broken" psychologically which makes him confused

Forceful at first. Up until chapter 66, there are 3 girls that join his adventure, 2 of them are reluctant and hate him (because they are forced into slavery) but gradualy falls in love to Tsukumo. While the other one is still confused to follow or not (possibly she will).

He isn't like that. What happened is that the meat that he ate before give him energy in every sense After he calmed down (2 days) he realized that his behaviour was not natural (he is not hero, but not quite like that).

Tsukumo starts having doubts that it's the meat causing it and consults the ring on it, because he'd heard the ring's previous owner had multiple lovers and around 50 kids. The ring amends its previous statement about the meat possibly being the cause, saying that while he and the people of the current world are both humans, they're fundamentally different. It claims his body instinctually realizes this and strives to continue passing on its genes. Tsukumo silently seems to think it's the ring's fault regardless, and the ring shows a rare moment of being flustered, so he's more than likely right.

Talking with the dragon mercenary does make him realize that they've been going at it like rabbits in mating season, and that just the knight and princess probably won't be able to keep it up too much longer, even with the healing potions he has. Probably doesn't help the two appear to be enjoying it at this point? They honestly didn't seem that against to begin with, if you ask me, but it's probably best to not think about it too much.

Tsukumo then started to do anything he can to survive in that harsh world, like rat. And then he heard the news that Yachiyo is dead or went missing. Tsukumo search for her whereabouts and arrived at the mansion of Sengoku Rouga, the guy last seen with Yachiyo.

After teleported to another world, he is scared sh*t and panicked when a Crust Bear attacked him. With the help of the ring, he is able to kill the Crust Bear. After that he learns lots of information about this world, and the important thing that he learn: "Do not hesitate to kill". He is sly and cunning, often use tactic to outwit enemies.

His root is kind (yeah, a little bit), as he treasured those close to him and not hesitate to kill anyone who are trying to do harm to him or his property (that include his slaves). Tsukumo is actually frail and coward but experience screw him up to put up a strong front and stain his own hand to the very end. There this event where Tsukumo and co. are staying in a town, acting like a kind traveler guy. Then they sneak to the landlord castle and rob his treasures. After that, when they escape, He destroyed that one town along with its citizen, to erase any witnesses and their trace as it is necessary. (This action however, gave birth to a hero that will surely stand in his way for revenge)

Yustia is one of a knight platoon with mission to protect Diana, however they are ambushed and Yustia is the only one to survive. Enemies pursuit them and after getting a way a bit from there, Tsukumo used [Hecathonceires] and massacre all of them (with his face smiled creepily). Yustia is angry at Tsukumo and when she wants to attack Tsukumo, he threatened her that if he die, he will order Diana to follow suit. Yustia then offered herself as replacement for Diana, however, Tsukumo refused it as he can see through Yustia lies. Yustia then is forced to accept that she will become his slave and Tsukumo will not lay his hand on Diana.

That just doesn't sound like my type of story. I like some darker fiction, but there are some lines I just don't want the protagonist crossing if I'm going to enjoy it. Rape is one of them. I don't care that he feels bad about it afterwards. Reminds me of the time I read the Thomas Covenant books.

Not really my type of viewpoint character, let alone the protagonist.

Feels kinda bad about it, but since here merely raised a small village and killed everyone there, less of a slow decent into evil, or simply fucking up in a fucked up world, more jumping down the slippery slope.

Redemption won't come, or won't come cheap for this guy.

They weren't aware of it. While the town was burning they were fighting off some offenders, in fact they didn't even suspect that Tsukumo was related until everything was ashes (they thought the other guys did it).

Diana came to love the atmosphere of the town and totally hated that Tsukumo did something like that, she felt a huge sense of betrayal because at that time she had started to believe on him. She actually condemns and confronts him about it... But by his body language, she realizes that he felt guilt and regret over it. Then she realizes that he only did what he did, because she was was there; even though she was disguised, info about strangers sniffing around could have easily leaked (considered they attacked the lord's castle that same day); and that town was in a delicate state and both armies had access to it (the town was being sold off to an enemy nation, so both the empire and the enemies had ties to it). She felt even further conflicted by that "for my sake feeling", as Tsukumo choosed to do that for her sake, and he bear everything on himself without telling them, thus he is protecting her from the guilt, the responsibility and other stuff related to that.

Yustia : "What's the meaning of this!? This isn't what we promised!".

(note, it was something like "As long as I am (Yustia) here; I'll be the replacement and the Princess won't get involved" ).

Tsukumo : "Yes, and let's say.... If you so happen to lose consciousness for a long while, you are not really in shape of upholding the promise, right? I'm not to request things from someone unconscious"

Yustia : ...... OK, I get, I get. But now I'm here, so it's ok, right?

The slavery hardly comes to play, he is more like an office boss to them he is pretty good at carrot and stick methods; so he more or less offers job rewards by the stuff that he does. He also realized on his home world that if he acts gentle to his nakama when they do a great job, and harsh to the other bands 100% of the time, people will feel really special then and will try to do things to see his good side.

What he has stated he "wants" for Diana to thoroughly give herself to him in both and mind by her own will, that's why he usually doesn't use the slave spell to force them to do anything. He has also "planned" a certian behaviour to make that easier, but rather what he "thinks it works" having an effect, is the girls catching glimses of the personality underlaying beneath the mask is what is making them closer to him.

He also has to do chores and other stuff because the high class ladies aren't good with those Also, I'm not sure if I have read this right (glossing over text, as usual ), but supposedly for the slave spell to truly work, both parties need to agree on the "owner / owned" side of the deal. That would mean that when Tsukumo did the ritual to Diana, she might have unconsciously already thought that she is his (that would explain why she comes to believe in him that quickly). For Yustia, he had to close her betrayal routes before her accepting to work under him (this bastard gets called goshujin-sama by an onee-san character ).

She submitted herself to slavery under the conditions that her soldiers would be spared, but she never got a master registered as she was being sold to the whatever empire. Tsukumo just jumped in at an opportune time and took advantage of it before she knew what was going on. Knightgirl was fully aware of what was going on when she agreed to it, but apparently has some special privilege where she can break the contract under the right conditions and is banking on that, from what I understand. Basically, neither of them intended to be his slave, at least for long.

I'm about 40 chapters in and at the start I was just expecting dark-themed thief adventures and instead got a kill-em-all protag. It's a little disappointing, to say the least. The twisted morals are nice and all, but I'm not particularly fond on how the author delivers them. So I'm probably just going to stop where I'm at unless I somehow find the motivation to continue.
