Finished V9. Massive, massive plot advancements in the last third of the volume.

I have a feeling Rinslet's power up is going to follow soon after.

Probably one of the better volumes in the series.

It appears we will be waiting a while to see what is Rubia's reason for betrayal from her own mouth. We have some good prediction why, but it is better to read it.

Err there's a couple things I'm not 100% on..in the next volume, if Kamito & co. defeat Rubia, won't the LN end..? I can't see it continuing in that way. Also, maybe One piece has spoiled me but...whenever an author talks about super powers like the other Greyworth-level witches, I assumed he'd introduce them by vol.9 or something, so have people like them appeared yet? And finally, in vol 4 chap 2, Claire talks about Alphas(a tiny country) amassing military-level spirits, does that ever come up again?

It's held in the Forsaken City within Astral Zero, and is filled with neutral creeps called the Forsaken Spirits. Everyone spawns at a random location, so they're all separated. Though Kamito meets up with Ellis and Rinslet at the end, and Fianna with Claire. Also the biggest spoiler thing is a joke, if you didn't get it. I rather not spoil the novel completely.
