To not dragging the topic from its primary use......Simply said, everything one can see in TTGL can be seen in all others before it (so there're nothing new), and evolving into Ark/Choginga/Tengen Topppa Gurren Laggan to fight are just......wrong. (So how GGG crew were supposed to win against Z Master and that thing in last 2 episodes in TV or Sol 11 Masters in Final? Or Gunbuster? Or all those in Brave Saga?)

Why do I have the oddest feeling that due to how Tessa has been kept around in the love triangle that she is going to be the one making the silly sacrifice at the end so the others can live happily ever after.
Of course this may sound bitter since, one I almost am always more favouring towards an underdog(in any genre), and two she herself has always seemed to be my favorite character in terms of how much more fun she makes scenes. However I realize that some endings are bitter sweet, but hopefully if it does come to that its one where she 'goes down with the ship' making a final stand to give Sousuke a much needed opening. Instead of than the more annoying 'we killed my brother but he already activated the machine, so i'll stay behind and try to limit its *insert doomsday effect* while you escape, so i can make up for his actions'. Hopefully though she at the very least gets a proper moment to shine and close off loose ends no matter if she survives or goes out fighting. As anything else would seem like a waste and let down at this point especially since the author has kept her around for this long. |

doubt Gatou'll kill 'er off. especially not for the final battle. Neither Kaname nor Sousuke want her to die for their sake and she's pretty useless in physical feats. Captain goes down with the ship? her crew would never let her do that. one of her guys was willing to die so she and everyone else could get away in COMO. i'm almost positive she'll survive. |

For the record, I hope she pulls through and gets the kind of ending someone of her ability and character deserves. But I wonder... Somebody is going to have to shut down whatever the diabolical scheme is gestating at Merida Island, and that somebody is probably going to need a close connection to Kaname in order to do it. Not to mention the technical and tactical talent to pull off the operation in the first place, since there's no way the solution won't require countermeasures and armed force. All of that pretty much rules out anyone but Tessa for the job. Sousuke will play a major role in the run up, and probably even escort her on the final stage, but once the two whispereds start slugging it out in whatever mental space they seem to call home, he's out of the fight. It goes without saying that it would be really easy for two (or three depending on your view) to go into that situation, and only one come back. |

If two whispers mingle in Omnisphere for too long in someone else,..it's like mixing tea with milk. The two can not be seperated. I fear something along these lines. Either Sophia wants to merge with Chidori and basically make a new person, and whipe out the existance of Chidori completely. Or Tessa and Chidori will bond together and....something horrible happens that Tessa has to merge with Chidori in order to furfill their goal... Tessa merge with Chidori...oh gawd NO!

Tessa still has a lot to contribute to the world and I strongly doubt that Gatoh will kill her off. And if its one thing I strongly dislike is a character dying for a ship. I hope that Gatoh goes no where near there. If Sousuke and Kaname is to have a happy ending, I hope its through their own efforts and sacrifices.

But you're allowed to have super robots in a real robot world, too. M9s and Savages are very definitely real robots and are treated as such; anything with a Lambda Driver (and other super units like the TDD-1) are super robots. I suppose they only turn super when the Lambda Driver is on, since the Arbalest is really just a fancy M9 until it busts out the fins. |

actually, i've been worried about the mind-melding as well. Tessa warned Kaname about it in FMP s1 (YITB i think) and so far they have continued to do it with absolutely no repercussions.
i'm sure the mix will happen somewhere, and i'm worried about who it'll involve... you don't think he [Gatou] would combine a K/T mind-mixing with the death of Tessa's physical body, do you? i mean, sure, it'd placate some of the KxS and TxS shippers, but it would leave a bit of a bad taste... (two chicks, one body? kinky.) as for Sophie/Kaname, i don't think it'll be them because i am convinced (in denial?) that there will be a happy ending, one that does not involve a malevolent entity living in Kaname's head. also, they're not using the traditional method of resonance; it may not even work the same way. i think she has to go by the end, and, when it happens, i can only hope it's not true love's first kiss that does it. the cliche'd kill me. |

there may or may not be a revel fire roasting the bastard bits of his bastard remains. also, Al may or may not stomp on the bits. that is all. EDIT: oh yeah... and Kurz is back, sitting in a lawn chair and making s'mores over this hypothetical conflagration. |

Rough smex. yikes. My god what pesismism! Didn't you know that Japan is all about the "rebuild" feeling? They suffer the apocalypse of Hiroshima and ever since they are these steadfast people -constantly- pushing the limit to rebuild. Neo-Tokyo? if theres a big boom at the end....it'd all be okay. It will be rebuilt again. Kurtz,..hm i dunno :s
