It doesn't apply to *cough*certain groups of fan-translation*cough*.

Or else I wouldn't be able to translate IS.

It worries me more about the reasons he doesn't approve of an official translation. I'm also wondering if it applies to the now-licensed anime. Is it JUST the anime that's being licensed into english, BTW? Or does that include the manga and light novels as well?

Licensed. We haven't heard anything about sub or dub at the moment, only that someone's licensed it.

good lord, dubbing IS.............actually, it doesn't sound so terrible, because US has already ruined god knows how many anime with their dubbing (and censorship..........cough-Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist-cough), so, another one doesn't matter

I don't completely fault the US. The trouble with dubs is that there's too much cultural and contextual difference between the US and Japan for a Dub to be 100% accurate and still make sense, especially with comedies.

That and the fact that a lot of anime fans can't be bothered to watch subs because they can't read, apparently. -_-

Argh--just realized that there's no specific date period for the Silverio Gospel incident based on the Anime or summaries. The start of Volume 4, we have Ling complainign about the summer heat in August. Anyone have a rough idea of how much time has passed between those volumes (3 to 4)?

No more than 3 months, as the "summer school" took place in, well, summer, and the heat Rin was complaining about must have happened during summer

Well, I actually don't plan to announce it here until it's fully edited, but since talk has died down, Vol 1 chapter 3 and vol 6 chapter 3 translation is done on baka-tsuki.

As for vol 6, sorry, but I'll continue chapter 4 after I'm finished with baka to test chapter 1 so it will take longer XD

I've recently came across another LN series... and I've realised not even Ichika can take the title of the 'most dense male character when it comes to relationships'.

Spoiler for Dense:

Is it just me, or is being dense a requirement for shounen male protangists with multiple girls after him?

If the male lead is not dense then it wouldn't become a story I guess. I mean, if the main protagonist gets it at first hint, it will be either he reject her or accept her, and then the story(or at least the romance sub-plot) will be over in 1 volume, probably less XD.
