The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things Watase Sanetoshi related.
To keep the discussion enjoyable for all Penguin Drum fans, please follow the guidelines below and stay on-topic!

Note: Please don't use this for the specifics (i.e. episode, chapter, game, etc. discussion) there are other threads for that stuff.

soo, what do we know about him for now?

first appeared as the librarian of a library somewhere in the death/illusion realm, reachable only by special ones
since the library, there were some suggestions of a possible correlation with the kiga group, as all the covers of the books in the library had that mark

later he presents himself as a doctor to cure himari, using some red vials as medicine (i'm thinking those red vials are harvested souls to use instead of consuming kanba's)

he seems to know momoka and since he thinks she is similar to him he wants to become her destined one

in later episodes(16) the kiga relation gets shaped as sanetoshi being something like the head/lead of the group

he has 2 servants/followers who can be conpared to the 2 tricky black bunnies of doom

lol i am a slow person, so it took me while to realize that the characters have special catchphrases. i really like "electrifying" talk a lot. and i also like how he interacts with those two little twins/rabbits/whatever.

i just don't understand his role or power. he can obtain some kind of vial that cures you for a short time. where is he getting it and why does he make people compete for it? is it really limited supply or he's just trolling?

that said, i really don't want sanetoshi to be a big bad but it seems to be going that way. i quite like him being a god of sorts with an unrequited love.

he's basically observing humans atm so i'd love more backstory on him.

I was actually expecting him to pop out of nowhere to save Himari in episode 18.

Putting this out there so people can start analyzing Sanetoshi's motivations: in episode 18, Sanetoshi was the one who sent Kanba's pictures to Tabuki. I.e., originally Tabuki was not interested in revenge--but Sanetoshi provoked him by giving him a target. Sanetoshi was also the person who told Himari she could go shopping out of the hospital, thus setting up Yuri/Tabuki's attempts to capture her.

It's still really hard to do any analysis on Sanetoshi. He's clearly playing everyone against eachother, but the why of the whole thing is difficult to determine. At the same time, he's supporting them in such a way that none of the factions flat-out wins.

...Maybe he's just a troll? lol wut
