He's married to two already, but it would feel too random without development for each. The main group (not counting his current wives) is comprised of Lumichina, Alicia, Sylvie, Horn, Rose, and Klem.

Laminitus, Raflesia, Solami, and Mei aren't shown to have more than a passing attraction to Diablo. Good for a one night stand, but they don't know him all that well personally, and each had their own reasons for coming onto him.

I'm not sure about Graham, but Edelgard doesn't seem to like him.

I would prefer one in Kekkon Yubiwa monogatari and Mushoku Tensei also has my stamp of approval (Even if Sylphy was mistake)

But yes in general I indeed dislike harems, it kills any tension, don't give girls enough agency and proves protagonists are too stupid figure best girl and give her well deserved undivided attention.

Well to be completely honest if Shera was replaced with, for example Rem's aunt I think I would be able grudgingly enjoy that 3some. Very grudgingly.

Well, with the latest developments I can see Diablo getting married to other girls like Rose, Lumachina, Klem. Maybe even Alicia if she reforms completely. I can even see Shera pushing him to accept the girls in order to make them happy.
Of course, it could also very well be that only the two main heroines get to be Diablo's wives, the current narrative supports such an outcome. We'll see in the next volumes.

If he saves the kingdom and marries Alicia, Diablo might actually become King of Lyferia. After this purge is over, she might very well be the highest ranked noble still alive. Rem did tell her that Diablo would want her to remake the system instead of leaving it in ruins.

I've seen the illustrations for the newest release. It looks like Klem is about to fight. Her look in that picture makes me think of a cat baring down on its prey. The question is, will Diablo let her go all out this time?

So, now we know Sylvie was a companion of the legendary hero who defeated the previous Demon Lord 30 years ago. I guess that means she's the oldest of Diablo's group.

Also... The slaves were freed, but it looks like Alicia wants to destroy the kingdom anyway. I guess she really is an irredeemable psychopath.
