I had to skim through the early magic explanation after awhile because it was just too long and detailed for my taste.

Yeah, the author doesn't really use that factor in his story. Unlike Aria where she charmed people left and right and even used it to to make her target let their guard down.

So her only true allies are the magic teacher and the princess? There are a few others that she doesn't want to mess with because they helped her in some way, but she could turn against them if they try to kill her or other two.

Though I hope the story will soon reach the otome game part. The growth of the mc and the way she deal with her enemy is really interesting, but the main reason I got hooked to this story in the first place is because I'm anticipating how a formidable assassin heroine will mess up an otome game setting.
