The Kyosuke fans are in an uproar, seems they forgot that Kyosuke's and Excellen's story is over and they're filling more of a mentor role to the new blood.

These new attack animation styles.......SO SEXEH!!!!!!

And....definitely a bit of a laugh to see the traditional SRW attack animation "jiggle factor" with this new style animation.

She isn't an important character anyome, her story is over after all, so they aren't going to show her in the PV over others. If Axel is here than that means she's going to be tagging along with him so she'll be in the game.

I'd love to see where are they. All I heard is people screaming because Kyosuke made an appearance in the FREAKING INTRO MOVIE, telling others that he's going to steal the spotlight again. Many Kyosuke haters used to be fans...

Than Kysouke stole the show in OG2, OGS, and Gaiden. Many people are just tired of him and now that he has no more story left there's no excses left for Kyosuke to steal the show anymore. Which is why they said tha he would be a mentor in this game and doesn't join you early on. The time is being spent on the new blood and those like Ryusei who still has tons of story left.

Not to mention that Kyosuke has no more mecha uprades waiting for him, so to keep him in libe with powercreep he can't appear early on like Ryusei who has a habit of jumping into weak test mecha than returning to his stronger one.

Really? Man, I wish I could meet those fan when I was playing OG2. Why must I only see the haters since 2006?

And there is still Beowulf, so people who say he doesn't have anything left for story are just hating him. But hey, I don't care if he's relevant to the story or not, as long as he's there, I will use him, and that's my way of enjoying the game.

I don't see the issue with Kyosuke, honestly. He's had his spotlight as:

1) Badass normal with ungodly luck
2) Badass cool field commander(After taking over for Ingram, and then some)
3) Rescuing squad members from eldritch abominations 3 times(OG1 GBA's Excellen brainwash got retconned in OGs, so it became 2 brainwashes)
4) Being a major plot hook for alternate universe(Shadow Mirror)
5) Having a goddamn railgun-fired flying brick for a mecha
