High School Fleet OVA's Promo Video Previews 2nd Part
^ ANN, dailymotion video. The YouTube video on the official website is region-locked to Japan. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-new...et-ova-preview The OVA consists of two episodes: "Coco Nosa in a Pinch!" and "Coco Nosa in a Pinch?!" (No, that's not a typo -- the second title is the first title with an added question mark.) Last edited by l.kostas; 2017-05-19 at 21:40. |

Regarding an older Tweet stating there might be more to Hai-Furi, there's been no word on whether or not it'll be a second season or movie. It's likely we will hear more within the next while, now that the second OVA is out, and I'm personally hoping for a second season.

Spoiler for Ship Name:
This was a fitting ending that, even if predictable, definitely captures the spirit of Hai-Furi.

Just finished everything. While the show itself wasn't bad, I think the OVAs could've done WAAAYYY more. It would've been a great opportunity to flesh out the world a bit more, especially getting some more perspective from the public about the incident. What happened to those researchers that caused the whole mess? Are they going to be punished? And the whole act of getting signatures turned out to be a waste of time. But that's not what was weird. What was weird was that the girls looked like they were about to show their petition (to the principal) so they don't get disbanded. But then that whole part is skipped to a new day where they open the orders only to be located to a new Harekaze. Coco calls it their plan a success, suggesting that the petition swayed the final decision...even though it didn't. I wonder how the discussion went down that night. Did (the principal) just tease them and told them the usual "we see what you've done and we'll consider the options" bullshit? The narrative was so weird; it makes little sense. And I guess the girls from Musashi were the ones that spread the rumor judging by the principal scolding them at the end.
If I can show any sympathy for OVA 2, it would be for shiro-chan's plushie. poor thing Last edited by blakstealth; 2017-09-08 at 22:04. |
