What are the changes slated for this version? I know that the characters are getting a rebalance as well as Mu, Makoto, Valkenhayn and Platinum will be added to the arcade build, but is there anything else for the console version or is that it?

now if they decided to sell BB3 or w/e on the release of SSFV, or some other huge fighting game series, then I'd think it was a stupid idea.

Genre doesn't matter when your up against one of the biggest game releases of the year, people only have so much time/money and will usually go with the bigger release if their restricted to one.
Pitting low key franchises against high end franchises is just a bad idea in general, be it movies/games/books/etc... another recent example is opening week scott pligrim vs expendables - scott pligrim is overall the better movie review wise but expendables has movie star power and has sold >>>>> then scott pligrim.

The majority of people I know IRL and on forums who play SFIV or BB have SC2.. I've run into 3 people in 1v1 ranked matches in SC who I've played SF against... it doesn't matter if it's a different genre, time is finite. Releasing an update of a fighting game in the same week as one of the most wanted games of the last decade is silly to say the least. AkySys should've pushed for same as JPN release...

Platinum was officially unveiled at the AM Show. BBCS2 will also be the first game to use Taito's new "NESiCA X Live" system, which is basically digital distribution for arcade games. It will also use this system to deliver periodic balance updates to the game (meaning there will be more than one rebalance). In addition it will have the features of Taito's already existing "NESiCA" card-based service which allows for online ranking by use of cards linked to personal data stored on an online server. It looks like she uses Muchourin in combination with her Heart Staff... I don't know why I didn't see that one coming.

It's the balance changes from the build of BBCS2 that was available for play at the AM Show. They're not final, and not really a loketest. A proper loketest probably won't happen until later. Though, since BBCS2 is supposed to come in December I'm guess the loketests will start soonish.

Seems like with j2C and fork partly restored, she is closer to what she had in CT, but still somewhere in between. Should be good enough even though will have to relearn combos.
Can't wait to sub Valkenhayn and make the hime and butler my permanent characters.
