Official website updated.
http://shining-world.jp/tv_tearsXwind/ Now can anyone tell me why in God's name they're showing a bunch of highschool cast, which are exactly the same as Shining Wind in the character section? http://shining-world.jp/tv_tearsXwind/chara/ |

A crossover. Let me guess, normal high school kids manage somehow to get to the fantasy world that is currently in war? I assume Xion's still the protagonist since the promotion picture just features the Shining Tears cast. Oh well, I hope this will work out well. Few more days.

Nice anime adaptations of Tony's character art in those screens and the character shots on the site, I like how they use the illustrations for the eyecatch, if that's what the last screenshot is from since the Shining Tears art is so good, nice Mao fanservice.
Haven't seen the raw yet so can't comment on the animation or the show itself just yet heh. |

There wasn't nearly enough Elwyn in that OP...I think I only saw her on the title shot, she didn't even get a full body shot...sad, gotta love those hot blond elves...atleast Mao looked great in all her shots. Same with Neige I only saw her in two whole screens of the OP I think.
Man, Tony's designs look good even in a TV anime. No idea on dialogue, but Mao was definitely the best part of that episode (thank you Tony), not enough Tears characters even showed up yet, the two school kids got most of the action. Are the school leads from Shining Wind then? Never seen that game. |

Poor animation and over-simple, hackneyed story, but nice character design, pretty good voice-acting, and decent direction. Quite enjoyable, in its way.
I can see why people don't like Hoshi Souichirou, but I enjoyed his voice there, myself. The voice that disturbed me was Saitou Chiwa's. I'm glad she can do various voices, but I miss her own distinctive sound.

lol, i thought it started out halfway serious, then it became a final fantasy game, complete with catgirls and monsters that wait their turns to fight...they even teleported to the "enless continent" where various low-end rpg monsters come out to fight.
I was mainly surprised I didnt see XP numbers coming off the one's he killed, or small bags of gold being left on the ground... |
